This is NOT open submission. The following people are allowed to post here:
mtgfan101 ookami PuppetShadow Shino Species8472 YOU WILL BE REPORTED IF YOU'RE NOT THEM! In Konoha, every member is an inheritor of the will of fire. This will is passed from generation to generation in the form of love and respect for the village. The strongest inheritors are the Genin, for they are to become the future leaders of the village, as one generation lays down the positions of authority in Konoha and lets the next lead, putting all forms of hope, faith, and trust in their successors. You are an inheritor of the will of fire. * * * The sun rose in such a way as to produce the most pleasurable morning imaginable. The scent of dew emanated from all places as the night slowly lifted itself into a calm morning of white, signaling the near return of the sun. Those early enough to catch this time found that it was the prime of the morning, the most calming before the sun sent radiant, beaming, bouncing yellows of all shades into the canvas of the village, everywhere letting off the air of life, of the birth of a new day, a day that would further the continuation of life. As the four rose, they knew that this day would be the stage of their performance, for today they played the role of graduate--tomorrow they play the role of a vital part of Konoha. (You may use "TWOF" or "Inheritors" to refer to this RP, or something else you can imagine.)

(Okay, I've decided to go with a new character... Hope you like him ^-^)
Mikoyose Ranshi walked down the small city street, hidden in his thoughts and his tattered gray cape. The boy had deep black hair, and had a long box on his back - Shaped like a coffin. The grey bag of ashes hung at his waist. As Ranshi walked silently, he recited a poem... Ashes to ashes, dust to dust The flames in our hearts define love and lust But the corpse in my hands will define this dead land And we will never cease to exist... When he reached the academy doors, the Chuunin guarding it didn't even pause to ask who he was - The cynical, shadowy student was a face never forgotten. "Sensei... I am ready for graduation..." He said, with an eerie, slightly horrific grin on his face. |

(I guess I'll keep my original character, I'll just tweak his background when the time comes for it. For the most part, he's the exact same as in the other one. The only big differences will be his age and where his family is at, and maybe how he lost his arm. Oh and familyas well as people of interest may have different names...)
Raziel woke up with a long stretch and yawn. Today was an important day. It was the day he became a genin. It was a happy day for him as well as his family. After all, he would be the first generation of ninja to come from his family. But his happiness wasn't shared with most of the rest of the village. Most hated the fact that a person who wasn't from any of the nations would become a ninja. But it was something his family lived with. He threw on his usual clothing which consisted of a pair of black pants and a grey shirt that formed to his body. The shirt had only one sleeve that covered his entire arm. The other sleeve was not present, no, more like it wasn't needed. Raziel entire right arm was missing. But because of an ability he gained from his family, he was allowed to become a ninja. Raziel looked in a mirror and combed back his black hair with a silver streaks that ran down one side of his head. The excitement of what today was finally over came his calm attitude. Without a second thought, he flew from his room saying "Goodbye" to his mother, father, and siblings then ran out the door and down the street towards the Academy. But, it wasn't that long until his presence was known. His parents said they wanted to go to his graduation but said something had come up. Raziel knew it was probably a threat from a neighbor or someone. As Raziel's run became a fast walk, almost everyone took notice of him. A few people muttered derogatory statements under their breath while others openly did it. Everyone hated him because he was a foreigner to the shinobi lands. He wasn't allowed to retaliate in any way because that would make his family's stay here even worse than it already was. After a few minutes, the insults stopped and for the moment, Raziel enjoyed the silence. That is, until he saw something he hated. Ahead of him, he saw a boy of maybe 5 years being picked on by several older kids. While they hit the kid, the boys mocked and ridiculed him for not being able to do some benign activity. It made Raziel mad. It was the one thing that angered him most, that is when ever anyone made fun of others for something they were or couldn't do. "Hey! You!" Raziel shouted at the older kids. "Leave him alone!" the boys saw Raziel running towards them and mumbled an inaudible insult then ran off. Raziel got to the kid and held out his hand. "Are you all right?" With a shaky hand, the kid took Raziel's and stood up. "Th-thank you. Yeah, I'm fine." He said in a tiny voice. "You sure?" Raziel made sure. "Well, if you'd like me to, I'll walk you home." The little kid smiled but shook his head no. "Thanks, but if I'm seen with you, I'll be teased more!" he stuck out his tongue and ran out of sight. Figures. Raziel thought to himself. Doesn't matter if I help them, I'm still a stranger to these lands. Well, at least he didn't run off immediately like some of them do. Raziel walked down the road into a place where he was more welcomed. A shop tossed him a small loaf of bread as he walked by, a few others waved and some children kept asking him to teach him a game from the place he was from. After making his way through these friendly streets, he finally made it to the Academy doors. As usual, the ninja that stood before the doors shot him a hateful look before opening the door and muttered something about how he'd 'accidentally' leave Raziel to die on some mission if he was ever in the same squad. Raziel looked into the room filled with all the other genins. None really interested him because he knew they weren't important. The only other one he saw in there Mikoyose person, someone who gave him a slight chill every time he looked Raziel's way. He knew there was suppose to be a few more important graduates this year, but apparently, they hadn't arrived yet. As usual, Raziel took a seat in the back of the group and waited. |

OOC - As with what Shino said i will do to mine. I'm to dam* tried to make up a new one. But there will be a few tweaks.
The sun rose over the leaf village. In the Akira's home, the family has been up since long before this. A man wearing robes was in the yard with his son. "Tosikema, you are getting the hang of this justu, but your not there yet. As I said before, concentration is paramount to it." The boy was average built for his age. Nothing special about him. Tosikema wore a brown trench coat, long black boats, and over his head were a pair of goggles. His black hair was cut very short. His trench coat was unzipped to reveal a red shirt, and black paints. He wore a belt, and vest of his own creation. On his belt was black rubbery gloves, made out of substance that was a Akira family secret. He was sweating, and painting. All over the ground was water. "Yea yea, i understand that part, but its easier said then done. Oh crap, look at the time! I have to go the graduation exam!" "I know you will do just fine my son. You will surpass your brother one day I know it." Akira gave his father a look of anger. And replied "Only because he can no longer improve. Bye father." And with that Akira began his slow walk through the village to the graduation. Along the way he ran into his best friend. She was the same age as Akira, however she did not want to become a Ninja, and opted to help her family instead. She was much taller then Akira, and wore robes. She ran up to Akira and yelled "Hey little buddy, where you off to today? Man if your not training with your father, your at the fancy Ninja place. You got to forgot about it, and live life to the fullest." "Well, first I'm off to my graduation." he stopped and turned around to his friend. "And I will never forget about it. My life has been set for me already, we cannot change our future, nor can we change the past." "Yea, if we can't do that, then I'm off for ramen, good luck little buddy!" she ran off down a side street. Akira made it to the Academy with just two seconds to spare. He seat down in the last seat in the far back. OCC: GTG! bye |

A slight form sat peacefully upon the roof of his house as he watched the burnished gold’s, crimson and orange that contributed to the elegance of the rising sun. This unblemished sight offered a sense of peace that helped calm his nerves for the upcoming graduation exam, as a soft dewy breeze rippled his hair. All of which the young boy admired with sharp grey eyes as he practiced both calming his body and surveying the familiar landscape that was Konoha. These talents as well as a decent memory and intellect for his age had allowed him to survive the Academy amongst older peers. Something that’d been difficult with his limited Genjutsu and Ninjutsu abilities, which was luckily balanced by decent abilities in Taijutsu and in the wielding of his weapon.
This currently sat across his lap in in the form of a long wooden handle (about the length of his forearm), with a sickle shaped blade (half the length of the handle) at one end, and a loop of thick string at the other. He would usually wrap the string round his hand when fighting to gain some control of the weapon, also known as the Kama. Intensive training since he was deemed ready to use the Kama had lead to the almost permanent wearing of bandages on his small hands to protect them from the burns and calluses caused by weapon. The protective wrapping on his left hand has only been there the last year as he trained to use two Kama’s simultaneously, but so far he hadn’t mastered that stage so he only carried the one with him. The use of the weapons, like the dark brown twin sickle shaped markings on his cheeks, signified his families tradition in being taught how to use sickle based tools. Their past had been that of farming, leading eventually to the use of the tool as a weapon to defend themselves if needed, to eventually becoming solely a weapon as some opted to join the Academy. The latest generation in his family was led by himself, as he lived the double life of most students, where he was taught and trained in the academy as well as at home. His sensei at home was his uncle, who taught him both the teachings and traditions of his family. Either way he didn’t want to focus on his family now as the thought of failure affected what little calm he was holding on to. With that he mechanically attempted to flatten his short n scruffy mouse brown hair, a bad habit of his when he was unsure about something. Suddenly he caught himself in the act, and with a frown he lowered his arm before uncurling his slight form as he stood up. At full height he was easily a few inches shorter than the others, but this didn’t affect his mind or athletic abilities as he leapt cleanly off of the single story roof. “Hisoka?” His Aunt called. “Time for breakfast.” This was suddenly joined by his uncles harder and more commanding voice. “Get yourself off that roof, your up there too often as it is when you could be training! Come on, don’t keep your aunt waiting or your sorry submissive hide will be forced into manual labour. I can’t have you thinking your above us cause your smart for your age boy! Well…not that you do, your too quiet for that…but anyway, I wont have a nephew of mine late. Well not that you do that either…anyway don‘t you start using any bad habits this early In your training!” He growled before noticing the grinning boy standing silently beside him. “Don’t worry uncle, I’ll do my best.” Hisoka said lightly as he hooked the Kama onto his belt. Other than that he wore a thick dark brown shirt with black markings similar to that on his cheeks, dark grey knee length trousers and the usual open toed blue shoes. All of which were practical and allowed easy movement without being too baggy on his narrow form as he made his way to the kitchen. Here he ate his breakfast in silence whilst listening respectfully to the animated words of his uncle and sensei when it came to his personal training. As the meal ended the uncle looked up at the boy, “Its been a while since I was back in the academy, but I hope I’ve given you enough to lessen the blow of graduation. Either way boy keep your cool and do your best…also if you get the chance make some friends, especially with those on your team Hisoka! If you don‘t it‘ll only make things difficult in the future or on missions.” The young boy of 10 dutifully listened to his uncles words and memorised their importance with a serious nod as he noted today wasn’t the day or time to distance himself. For if anything could be considered his bad points it would be his tendencies to get lost in thought, being quite and shy, childish (sometimes), also being over critical and judgemental of others. Other than that he could be friendly and sometimes too open with his opinions, but despite his abilities he was naturally submissive preferring to follow others. When he was finished he said his farewell and headed on the familiar route through the already busy streets to the Academy beyond. Unlike most he preferred early, but the morning talk with his uncle had placed him as one of the last to enter. He quickly found himself a empty seat, as he ignored a couple of glances the kids shot at the normally ’perfect student’. His name was Akitako Hisoka, the youngest in the class to be taking this years Graduation exam. |

Oh crap, I thought I had already made this announcement in the initial thread:
Regardless of when you reach the Academy, I'm not going to go forward for a few days so you can RP with each others and other Genin. PM me if you need me to play an NPC Genin for you. Of course, it's already been a few days...I'm going to keep this invitation open for about 18-20 more hours... D'oh! sorry guys. ![]() |

Akira sat alone in the back row. He never had any friend. Akira never like people from the Leaf, and never will.
Akira took out a book from his bag and begin to read it. As he read, one of the other gennin set by him and looked at his book. Akira was aware of this intruder to his space, and said "Can I help you?" "What are you reading?" said the gennin. "Its of no concern to you, go away." "Wow, now i know why nobody likes you." the gennin got up and walked towards his friends. "Why does all these retards have to be so... retarded." Akira said to himself. As he read in his book, a spider crawled onto the desk he was reading his book on. As soon as he saw the spider, he became paralyzed. Although the spider was no larger then a pencil point, he was still scared to death at the sight of it. Seconds ticked by. The spider stared at Akira, and Akira stared at it. Akira began to move a bit. Seconds later, there was a loud boom. And the entire class turned around and stared at Akira. Akira had smashed his book on the spider, picked the book up, and BOOM! He slammed the book down again, and again. Three more times. "Sorry.." he said. (OOC: Guess who got off work early yea i did! OH RIGHT!) |

Hisoka listened to the several conversations going on around him, including that of the boy Akira. Well he could tell it wasn’t much of a conversation as he chased off a potential friend. Like my uncle says that’s not the best thing to do now… He thought to himself as he placed his weapon on the desk before him. As the other boy went off Hisoka attempted to turn in a casual way to face the reading student behind him. Suddenly all he could see was Akira frozen in fear as he stared at his desk in front of him, but at what he couldn't quite see. But before he could stretch up the other boy violently whacked his book down. At this Hisoka flinched and turned away as the banging continued. When it finally stopped he turned and noticed the remains of Akira’s victim.
A silence came over the classroom as everyones eyes all turned to face Akira. This included that of Hisoka's who bit back his words until the usual noise returned to the classroom. “It doesn’t take much of a retard to see that spider was scared of you. Was it just because it was smaller than you and the fact that you don’t understand it, reason enough for to punish it like that?” He questioned the boy in a soft emotionless voice as he eyed the boys book. “I know I don’t have eight legs, but why don’t you take it out on me too based on your logic?” He said as still ringing ears, mixed up with thoughts of his past and consideration for the spider built up inside him. Suddenly as he realised what he was doing he instantly started smoothing his hair before he spoke again. “Erm…sorry, I…I was only wanted to see what you were reading, I...I don’t know a lot of people that read when they don’t have to. But…I know you don’t want company…so, sorry and if you need any help with…spiders, please ask…I don’t mind them.” With that he turned round and hung his head hoping that was enough to soothe the matter. It wasn’t that he was scared of being beaten up for his opinionated words, as it wouldn’t be the first time it had gotten him into trouble. But what he did dread was being on the same team as the boy, and being the cause of any trouble this might’ve caused. The best thing to do now is walk away… He glanced round and noticed their weren’t any chairs free, so with a sigh he stayed in his chair awaiting any wrath the boy behind him might want to bring. Raziel sat in the back of the classroom. Hey was the black sheep of the group and he knew it. The fact that a one armed foreigner who had never had any experience with ninjas was about to become one set him apart from everyone. Even though no one was looking at him, Raziel felt as if they were all watching and judging him.
As if on cue, the tension was eased when Akira, another strange person, slammed his book down several times on a spider. Raziel couldn't help but laugh as the scene reminded him of something he read recently. This Akira person, to Raziel, seemed as if he was the type who even though he secluded himself, drew people towards him. Another person, Hisoka, talked with him. Hisoka also seemed strange to Raziel. One of the types who seemed to get in trouble with his words. Raziel liked those who were different in ways. A group of kids in seats behind Hisoka and Akira stood up and went off boasting for some reason how they were going to the bathroom. Raziel decided to take this oportunity to get closer to the two and casually made his way to the seats where the kids were. Raziel opened up a book from his home country and pretended to read it while picking up on the conversations of everyone, especially the two in front of him. |
