The words that Hisoka spoke were far from the truth, but in a way reminded him of his past. Akira toke a second, thinking his next words carefully. Avoid fights, you don't want to stick out to much. The words of his father echoed in his head.
"You would not understand. Just leave me alone, I have to clean my book now. And I don't need help with spiders, I just kill them, simple as that. If you did have eight legs, that would help you in battle." Akira chuckled at this. He looked around looking for a more "alone" seat, but was forced to stay where he was. So he cleaned off the remains of the spider and went back to reading his book.
Akira looked up from his book to check who was in the room. He never payed any attention to the students when he went to the Academy, but now that he would be on a team with two other so called ninja he better learn the people.
The first person he spotted was a one armed boy. This was odd, How can he make hand signs? he thought.
Out of all the people in the room he worried about the must was the one armed kid. Mother had always warned him not to take the under dogs lightly. Sure everybody in here could boast at their powers, or their knowledge, but it all comes down to how much you want to prove to others how well you are. Akira thought that he better stay away from him, because if he was wrong, he would just have to watch him struggle.

Akira begin to get bored of reading, and spying, and began to wonder when his new teacher (OOC: I use the English translation, I think it is stupid leaving in one or two jap words in a english translation lol) would show up.

Hisoka frowned at the boys words before shaking his head with a sigh, Why are kids older than me so stupid… He thought to himself as he looked at the weapon before him. Suddenly at the comment about needing more legs to help him in battle he smirked. “If I need that then you need all the help you can get if you’re scared of a little spider.” He observed darkly without looking back at the older boy. “Lemme guess you splat your enemies with a book when you’re scared?” The boy added as the ongoing hate of being underestimated fuelled his words.

“You know that there are spiders that can attack you if you try and attack them?” He finished with a slight smile. “Good luck in the forests…you can find a lot of spiders there…remember to take your book.” Hisoka said lightly, before adding to himself. If you look too far down at something, it’ll soon bite you on the nose. With that he planned to ignore the boy as he examined the blade in hand before turning to talk with the girl beside him about the upcoming graduation.

The interruption that came into the room seemed to ripple from the sound that made it: each student was silenced quickly as the door banged into the wall. Their academy instructor emerged from his wrathful entrance with a dull expression on his face.

"It has been an honor to train and teach all of you. Today, I give you away to others that have surpassed my level of expertise, that they may help you train and surpass my own level. Now, let's assign the squads."
This list is troublesome and tedious, so let's get it over with...
"Alright. Now, it seems that there was an extra student in the academy that graduated. Therefore, we will have one squad that has four members. We're placing all four of you under a qualified Jounin sensei, whom we think is qualified to carry out this task of a large group. All four of you were chosen with forethought. Most of you aren't very. . .shall we say. . .affable, but hopefully you'll warm up to each other after a while.

"In any case, we're sending you four off quickly, because you have no time to waste. I'm going to give you all a map which indicates where you need to meet your teacher. Here are those that are in the group:

Part II
Make it to the indicated location on the map, working as a four. You will all have to interact and get to know each other (presumably unpleasantly, judging by the rest of the thread...).

Akira was about to respond to the unacceptable attitude of the boy in front of him, when his teacher walked into the room.
Akira let the comment go, and gave his full attention to his teacher. As soon as he gave out the squad orders he became depressed. He knew it was coming, but still he hated this fact. Teamwork was never his strong suit, and never will be. However, when he heard his name called after Raziel, he was both pleased and concerned. He knew from stories that the underdogs are almost always the best, however, sometimes they are the worst, and get their teammates killed.
When Hisoka's name was called he sighed. Great I'm on the team with the one armed ninja, the ninja who will talk his own death, and somebody I never heard of. This team is doomed to die a dishonorable death.

As the newly formed teams left the room, Akira walked in the back, and observed Hisoka. He noticed he was cleaning a blade when he was... talking... with him. I'll have to keep my eye's on him as well. Since we are on a team, it might be wise to try and become his friend... for now.
"So Hisoka, sorry for um... killing that spider back there. I didn't know you liked them. Me I hate 'em. And if I see spiders, I will kill them. I hope we can become... er... friends now that we are on the same team."
Akira turned his attention to his group now.
"Well, I guess I should tell you a little about myself. My parents are from the Mist Village, and my dad was a Mist Ninja. But we moved to Konoha after my dad quit being a ninja. It was a tough choice, but since my Brother got killed he requested it from our villages Kage. My goal is simple, I seek revenge on my Brother's killer." (OOC: Yo MTG, I changed who killed Akira's brother...)

At the teachers entrance Hisoka straightened and turned to face the man’s dull expression for what might be the last time, as his words easily silenced the whole class. I hope I’m in a good team… He thought hopefully to himself as their instructor mentioned that the next team would consist of four instead of three people. As the names were finally listed he realised why the term ‘affable’ had been used to describe them, as his name followed that of Akira’s. Of all the students… He thought to himself with a sigh as he took his Kama in one hand and a map in the other as he left with the others. (Do they get their headbands/village amulets at this point?)

Hisoka knew teamwork wasn’t his strong point, but as long as he didn’t have to lead or have a strong role he would be happy. Especially as this would give him less time to speak, decreasing the chance he’d insult the other boys so soon after meetings them. Nevertheless he didn’t mind map work and he found exploring and observing new and familiar places interesting. The only problem was attempting to open up and interact with others at the same time.

As they left the room he hooked his weapon back onto his belt so he could concentrate on the map and not on the disturbing silence that seemed to hang over them. Unexpectedly the first to break the silence was Akira as the boy addressed him of all people. His words were different in tone to that used by the Akira he’d met in the classroom and he wasn’t sure whether to be suspicious or relieved. Either way he offered him an apologetic grin as he briefly brushed down his hair with his hand. “Sorry for…overreacting, I can help you with them…the spiders, well the bad ones if you like. I wasn’t joking before…sorry about that too. Erm, friends sound good.” He said hoping that was enough to soothe the matter for now, without ending up saying too much.

Hisoka silently listened to Akira’s introduction as they walked out of the Academy, but when the boy finished he wasn’t willing to open just up yet as he looked to the others on their team. Whilst at the same time he wondered which one of them would take charge of their initial task.

The map details almost ever facet of Konoha's streets, down to the alleyways and alley fences. Every building in the village is shown to vibrant detail. A bold indication of the destination sprawls in two dashes to form a red X. This is the only note on the map; there is no key nor scale. The X is located in what seems to be a cemetery/training ground. It is in front of three poles in the middle of this ground. A large sundial is pictured to be closeby, which every Konoha citizen knows is a solemn memorial of each battle-fallen citizen.

"Near the cemetery, eh..." He stood up, and walked out of the room.

Akira looked at the map that Hisoka was holding.
"Well its pretty straight forward if you ask me. This is a test, I say we back track all the way to the other side of the village to make sure we aren't being followed by... enemies. Then we advance to the spot on one of the back ways, back track at least three more times. Then we we get to the area on the map, scout the area before proceeding in it. This way, we can be certain that we won't be attacked by enemies."
