“I can’t tell what time it is, but it’s been a long while since I first arrived,” Hisoka said as he crouched down and settled to biting his thumb nail. “Yukki-sensei said come at that time, but he wasn’t here himself…he also said that some could come until an hour later and still he hasn’t arrived. It’s been a while since that again…” He said as he glanced at the sky judging what he could by the movement of the moon.

At Akira’s theories he shook his head, “I don’t believe Yukki sensei would do that without telling us…also at his level it would take only a moment to either pop here and inform us, or he could easily get anyone in this village to pass on a message.” The youngest said with full confidence in their new sensei even if he was late.

At the mention of another ten minutes he glanced towards the others as he waited to hear what they had to say on the matter.

"Ah, you are correct, I did not think of that. Also, I have no idea of the effective of carrying messages amongst konoha shinobi. If its anything like Kirika then I would assume we would of be told hours ago. Something may be wrong indeed. Perhaps, he is testing us? Or maybe he has a knack of being late. My brothers sensei was always late, my fathers sensei was always late, and my cousins sensei was always late. Maybe is a sensei thing eh?" Akira chuckled.
"I still think we should give him another ten minutes, then tell somebody of him not being here when he said he would. But I don't recall him saying HE would be here at that time, just us. And if you are correct at time telling, which i believe you are..." Akira smiled I'm trying my best father. "then we were here on time, but he was not." Akira went back to thinking.

"I can almost assure you he will come... These are peaceful times, and there shouldn't be many jobs that a Chuunin Team couldn't accomplish... This is definitely a test of some sort... We do know that he can manipulate his physical form, so he could be anywhere... And perhaps it is a test of his endurance. Without knowing the specifics of his transformations or the whereabouts of him currently, we can't do much of anything. I say we just wait." Ranshi said, quietly.

"So, I'm with Akira on this matter."

It did seem strange to Raziel that their sensei was running late. He figured that it was after 5 am due to the sun's increasing light. Well, maybe he's testing us again. If we leave then he arrives after us, we may get in trouble for abandoning our post. However if we stay, we could get in trouble for not attempting to help a possibly fallen comrade. Raziel let out a frustrated yell filling the quiet morning. "Why do I have to over think everything!?" He yelled. he thought for a few moments.

After thinking about what the others said, Raziel spoke. "Akira is right. Yuuki never said he'd be here at that time. He just told us all to arrive by those times. He may be around here seeing how well we can follow instructions. With that in mind, I do think we should stay put. I think that there are enough Jounin around this village to do any mission that our Yuuki sensei could do. And even if he was sent on a mission, the head of the village has to know that he has genin under him. I think with that, they'd inform us at least. That is once they found us. So I say to stay put here. However, it is a good point that something could have happened to him." Raziel thought for a moment. "What if we did this: Split into two groups. One group would remain here. That way, if Yuuki sensei showed up late, we could explain that we were worried about him and split into two groups. the second group would go out looking for Yuuki sensei. But, they should check back here every say 30 minutes or one hour, that way if Yuuki does come here, we won't have to wait a long time for your return. You see, the reason why I think he could be late could be that no missions for ninja of our rank have come in yet, or something along those lines. He could merely be waiting for a request for a mission appropriate enough for us to come in. So, with that all said, I believe we should stay here."

"Though, it does bother me that he merely told us to arrive here at our respective times. He never told us what to do once we arrived here. But I will say this, if we do choose to do my one idea of splitting into two groups, one as a scouting group of sorts, I suppose I'll volunteer to be in the group that looks for him."

Raziel looked down at his lap. The one spider that was on him earlier returned and rested on Raziel's lap. Before anyone could see it, Raziel raised a knee to block it from sight and ran a hand over it as if it were a cat or dog. "Getting warm, are we?" He whispered to the spider as it sat. Raziel looked up at the sky and waited for others to speak.

Hisoka nodded at everyone’s decision, then suddenly as he noticed what Raziel was petting his eyes widened slightly as he bit back a grin. Then with casual movement he settled onto a branch where he could block Akira’s view from the older boy. “Okay then…that sounds logical lets wait here a bit longer, If he doesn’t turn up after that then I’ll too nominate for the scouting thing with Raziel.”

Alright, six o'clock, it's been two hours. Let's begin. I'd better catch them before they start to look...

"Your sensei is already dead..." a voice emanated from the top of a nearby roof. It fell and began to embark on its short, solemn journey to the group. The shadowy figure must have been disguised in some black cloak, for he became no more visible as he approached them, even walking into the now-rising sun.

"Your sensei died because of you. Well, at least he would have if this was an actual mission. Or, perhaps he would have been alive but you would be dead."
The four stared blankly and confused.
"Well, let's see. The case-in-point is the meeting place where you all five agreed to meet. Do you realize how long you have been here? Two hours. It should have been evident within at least twenty minutes that your sensei was not going to show up. That's when it gets tricky, because a lot of complications could have arisen. What if he was taken hostage? What if he was interrogated and killed on the way here by the enemy, and now they know your location? What if he was a spy, and now they are ready to ambush you from all around? What if he just ditched you because he didn't want to show up, leaving you to fight for yourselves the mission of the Hokage? What if something happened to him at his house, medical complications?

"The list continues. I am so disappointed in the four of you for not taking this into your own hands until now. Sure, there were schemes being made now, but it's plenty too late for backup plans. Your sensei and all of you are dead.

"Of course," revealing the cloak, "if you would have decided to come to look for me I would have interrupted you and applauded. But you stopped being smart about an hour and a half ago. Staying put would have done you no good though; I don't know what I would have tried to teach you by staying put. 'Let's be Yuuki's little puppies and wait here for four days just to show him we're loyal...' I should probably start doing less vague tests, but I just think I'm too clever. This served two purposes, though: One, it was a test of your reasoning, and two, it was punishment for doing so terrible today AND not picking up on the little puzzle two hours ago.

"Anyway, let's get started for today. I have a mission from the Hokage. It's our assignment for today. D-Rank mission. Tomorrow, we'll do two D-rank missions. The next day, three. And we'll keep doing such a pattern until you reach your breaking limit. Then we'll add another to the daily repertoire."

Ranshi was shocked. I should've known it would have been something like that...

"Very well, sensei. What is our mission for today?"

A cloud seemed to form over Raziel as the spider finally scurried away. Well, this teach is fuuuuuun. Raziel thought to himself. I wonder if all ninja are suppose to give hidden quizzes to those under them.... Raziel slowly stood stretching in a gloomy state.

"Well, I guess Hisoka was the one who was right this time. We should have looked sooner." Raziel voice sounded annoyed. He rubbed his forehead. Though finding a place where we follow what we're told to do, working as a team, and thinking for ourselves is going to be difficult. Raziel thought. "So, what's our mission today, sensei?" Raziel asked before muttering the inaudible phrase "Or is it another vague test" so quietly that only he himself could hear it.
