Now then...with the absence of Legls, I have decided to simply redo the RP, as you all know. However the project halted about a week ago and is yet to do anything else. So, Here is where you four have a voice to veto anything I say and post your opinion on questions I have. I won't go too far into the storyline (only to about the first C-rank mission), but I want you guys to be able to spike down thoughts I had if you want. Once every member has posted "-Done appealing-" we will begin the actual RP.

Aspects of the RP
-Two groups of two or one group of four?
-Cameo appearances of characters from the show (they will be adults though, this would be set several years in the future). The main one of these would be Naruto as Hokage.
-Cameo appearances of other teams.
-A bit of buffer time to spend at your house between missions and such.

Unfolding of the RP
-Working under a Jounin for ~2-3 weeks real time. (D-rank missions, basic tactics, stuff Genin need to learn.)
-First C-rank mission: check on/deliver a message to the Kazekage, who has not responded to the past few letters.
-Further C-rank missions...maybe a B-rank mission if you're good...
-Chuunin exams
-About as far as I go; the RP will most likely die before then but in case it continues I don't want you to know what happens next.

Okay, I don't really care much about the groups...

I am 1000% AGAINST cameo appearances from existing characters, although I'm not sure what exactly you mean by "other teams."

Buffers are good, as far as I'm concerned.

The only thing I worry about with the whole cameo appearances of existing characters as adults is the threat of spoilers. To date I’m only up to date with the anime and maybe 1/10th through the manga. I may be the only one but could we limit the interaction with existing characters if we have them? Or at least make their entrance minor enough to have an affect but without too much background story? (naruto as Hokage = fine, but again limit spoilers)

Another note here we should only have original characters. NO canon relations.

Group wise I don’t mind as long as both jounins are consistent, or with one that he/she is able to cope with the group size.

Buffer time sounds great and it’ll make things more interesting by allowing some time for background stories of our own characters, ^^

Cameo appearances of other teams are basically NPCs (non player characters) yeah? These can generally be controlled by anyone and help set the scene. (they’ll be really handy in the chuunin exam)

Will we be rp-ing one character? Or could we create two to rp?

(dont worry mtg I have got a clear mind atm. just a bit of a headache ^^ but thats my fault eh?)

Yeah, not many spoilers from non-original characters.

One, but that could change by popular vote. However, I would not allow you to RP as two people in the same group. That is to say, you would have to have one character from the first group and one from the second. However if everyone's okay with consolidating to one big group we can do that as well.

I'm fine with that, mtg. Naruto hokage wouldn't be terrible, I just don't want any existing characters there, if possible. But I can handle Naruto.

Yeah, I figured I would be shot down with that. The cameos would be really minor, as in you might see Shikamaru as a proctor for the exams or you might see Sakura in the hospital or etc. like that.

hmm let me think on this one.
All the previous RPing groups i belonged to were set in a frikin huge galaxy (AvP, Star Trek, etc) so staying away from the cannons were easy.
But in the naruto galaxy its so frikin small. Compared to the distance i traveled as species 8472 in the trek RPing the Ninja countries are as small as a pencil point.
I guess cameos in such a small frikin area of RPing is near impossible.
For Example: Ninjas get their orders from the hokage, the hokage being Tsunade.
I guess cameos would be alright, as long as they don't do to much interacting.

I agree with Species, as long as its limited its fine with me.
Group wise whatever's easiest.

Character wise, as in our own, will we be using the same characters from the original Will of Fire? Or will we be creating new ones? Also will we be creating profiles, or just role-playing them straight away?

(maybe a Profile thread where we can post character profiles from all our rps, may come in handy? Even if its only basic + pictures.)

I don't like profiles personally, so no. You can create a new one if you like or stick with the old one. I don't feel like doing any character creation so I'm going to stick with Yuuki. Lazy me.

A profile thread to post characters from all RPs? Well, I was going to make an archive for you to put character ideas that you think are good, you'd just never use...but I suppose we can do that as well.
