Default Role Playing Ideas

Although we do roleplaying, it is simply impossible for an idea to not pop up in our heads. What ideas do we have for an RP? Here we share our ideas, and improve each other's with suggestions and etc.

Though i'm sure you've all read this one, but i'm improving it.

  Spoiler: Suburbia 

Suburbia-

Imagine a world, where gang violence and psychic powers were dominant in day to day life. In the suburbs of this world, gangs of people from ages 14 to 30 and higher exist, all with their own names and their own unique powers. One man in all this chaos controls them, leaving them in negligence, this man however holds tournaments for gangs, the gangs gather at certain places, fighting using their fists, weapons and their unique psychic powers.

Psychic powers use your mind and body's energy, using it all up would exhaust the user to an extreme, using it further endangers the user's life. Psychic powers are only moving and stopping objects, the size that can be lifted depends on your mind's strength. Though psychic powers arent limited to that, spirits would befriend a psychic user, endowing the person with the powers of the spirit, for example one was a fire fox spirit, the user would gain fire powers and if mastered, would learn how to take a form, usually looks similar to the spirit.

There are 5 elements and a number of abilities that go with them.

There are 5 main Elements
Wind
Water
Fire
Earth
Thunder

These main elements are adapted to the following specialties, the specialties will be infused with one of the elements.

Sniper- Sniper allows one to throw small objects are bullet speed, the smaller, the quicker the shot
Throw- A fairly brutal type, it allows one to lift large objects with ease but using their psychic powers, it not only lifts objects, it can make a large rock to throw by breaking off a bit of the ground
Ability Based- Ability based is rather rare, since ability based ones, two are never the same, some may be similar but will always have one indistinct difference. Ability based are based around the ability
Mimic- While this doesnt mimic the element, it mimics the specialty or ability if it's ability based.
Sever- The sever is a rare one, it allows one to swing their arm in a slicing motion, slicing anything in that range, it's like having a large invisible sword that can extend whenever you want
Darkness- This type has no element whatsoever, this speciality allows one to manipulate shadows, darken areas for ideal escapes and shoot balls of darkness.
Light- A elementless one, this specialty is usually dependant on blinding the opponent, then taking the opportunity to send shots of light which come in high numbers
Electronic- This is actually one that can be learned and added, though it is difficult to learn and is easiest when infused with a thunder spirit. It's use? got a broken TV? zap it with this specialty to repair it, though it cannot work when the TV is physically broken.
Gravity- An extremely rare specialty, though it requires no element, this type is able to make orbs or gravity that are heavy depending on the amount of gravity that is put into it. It is also able to stomp the ground with gravity
Quick Draw- While this is actually a basic specialty that can be learned, it is still useful, this specialty is known by experts, it is able to shoot a shot of the element one owns, for example thunder, using quickdraw allows one to quickly shoot a shot of thunder at a superhuman speed.
Plasma- This is a fire mastery, so it's fire only, plasma is able to be used not only underwater but on land as well, plasma is able to melt things nearly instantly
Ice- This is the water mastery, ice is extremely good for trapping opponents and buying time, this mastery is the sort that consumes the whole field of combat
Lightning- Much quicker than thunder, lightning can hit multiple enemies at once and has a stronger stun effect but subconsequently doesnt get any stronger.
Pulse- This ground mastery allows the user to send a pulse through the ground, it's a focused earthquake, consumes less energy and can be redirected.
Razor- This Wind mastery allows the user to focous the wind into a more concentrated form, meaning it's quicker and there's more slicing ability behind it, in addition all normal wind attacks gain a razor effect.

  Spoiler: A Mage's Sword 
A Mage's Sword-

The land of Pangea, this land holds 4 main continents and a series of islands along it's shores. Some continents havent even been found yet. Each of the 4 main continents hold mages, each continent having their own customs, styles and magic types. Here is an introduction to the 4 magic types.

Fire, Continent Ignis
The fire continent Ignis, this continent's terrain structure is mostly flat and much of it is desert, the small lush parts of the continent are the places that hold civilisation. The Fire continent's style of fighting is aggressive, extremely aggressive, strong and hard strokes a Mage weapon are what makes the typical Fire Mage.
Extra Element Possible
-Earth

Water, Continent Aquarious
The water continent is a very kind type of place, it's refreshing with lush forests which contian rivers at every corner. The Water continent's cities are underwater, the underwater cities are amazing, they float under the water, whole cities inside gigantic bubbles made by the Water Generators in 4 towers, there are 4 floating bubbles of cities, each one containing one of the towers. The Water style depends much on the environment, the more water they have access to, the stronger each Water Mage is.

Wind, Continent Ventus
The Wind continent is made up of hilly plains and small patches of forest, most of it is just normal plains. The Wind country is a fairly breezy place, even on a hot day, the breezes of the the Wind Country cool you down. The Wind Country's fighting style is quick casting and strong focus, these are the keys to fighting as a Wind Mage.

Shadow, Continent Umbra
The Shadow continent is a very dark place, though much of it is basic forest that is mostly of the Fuedal Japanese era, much of it's cities are that style too. The Shadow Continent's Shadow Mages are extremely quick fighters, using more blades than magic, they are refered to as Ninjas as well as Shadow Mages.

Battle Mages:
Battle mages are mages that have advanced from simply strong casting to quick AND strong casting, Battle mages can weild weapons, though one problem here is the Ninjas, though Ninjas may be Battle Mage-like, they are not as their Ninjutsu or Shadow Magic are better than their melee fighting skills. When they become Shadow Battle Mages, they can be refered to as Shinobi.

Sages:
Sages are the types that have mastered Quick and Strong casting, though they dont fight close combat all that much, their casting would be much stronger than battle mages naturally, and their cast speed depends on the magic.

Healer:
Healers are mages that have no good qualities in combat, instead they specialise in Healing magic, this sort of magic simply heals wounds, usually the amount of healing is dependant on the wound and the healer's limit. It cannot heal infections or diseases, but poisons can be healed, but they take much longer.

Mage's Sword-
The Mage's Sword is a weapon materialisation from one's magic type, though learning the other magic types are possible, the weapon materialises from the magic type you prefer most. Masters are able to change it's element any time they want.

Mage's Will-
The Mage's Will is something made by a strong determination, the Will allows the mage to have a boost for a short period of time, their appearance wont change, but their Mage Sword and their magic flow will double, sometimes triple. Though the Will requires the Sword, it is also possible to use it without the Sword, but that person must be capable of enough determination to triple it. This event happens usually when a mage is in a tight spot.

Mage's Sword Advanced-
The Mage Sword's Advancement is quite an advancement, from a weapon to a fullbody armour, it doesnt look like it's made of magic, the weapon no longer looks like it's made of magic either, rather it takes a form similar to the user's personality. This type is exclusive to only one element, changing the weapon's element would also be possible, though the elements that are not of the armour's will have half the effect.

I've had one... It's kind of a different kind of RP than the rest we've seen at TF...

Basically, It's not about single characters, it's about Shinobi Clans, how they develop, and how they converse. It wouldn't be a big fighting RP, although there will be combat (what else in a Naruto PR? lol). There would, of course, be rivalry, Bloodline Limits, and a deep plot. I want to see other people's views on the idea, rather than popping it out there...

Well making a totally new idea is a good thing... I also have a 3rd i just made yesterday.

  Spoiler: Perfection 

erfection

Year 2534-
The sun's rays have become 10 fold hotter than before, snow and seasons are in disorder.Among this disorder, cities have been made in strong glass domes, each one protecting the town or city within it. Each dome is powered to do normal seasons as if nothing had changed and technology at this time is extremely advanced.

Plotline-
Amongst this what some people would call peace, rises a handfull of humans, these humans are perfect in every aspect upon birth, their health is maximum, their fitness is unnatural, they never get sick and their immune systems can fight off AIDS (though a cure is found at this time). These humans were commonly known as the "Perfect Humans",named Perficio Ver, otherwise known as "Perfect Man". These humans uncannily had knowledge in martial arts and warfare at a young age, though this was irrevelant as they could answer nearly every single question man asked, nearly due to not being able to answer "What is the Meaning of Life?" and maybe a few others. Though they are extremely esteemed, one incident involving a "perfect human" killing a whole 26 policemen when he was blamed for a robery which was revealed to have been also made by another "Perfect Human". This sparked the events of hate against Perfect Humans, one company, Alpha Corps, a science research corp was working on it's own secret army, the company's boss, Franz Mardok wanted the perfect human gene, though getting their perfectionist gene was illegal at the time and now that people were having riots against these perfect humans, it was the perfect chance to seize one victim and make test subjects in order to create the perfect army.

Description-
Perfect humans are perfect in intelligence, strength, speed and defense, they know one martial art, they're experts with a certian type of gun (sniper, pistol etc.) and are extremely talented in one certain melee weapon. They aren't perfect in appearance, no one is, but they do look damn good. their sense of fashion is no different to normal humans, in other words varied.

Resistors-
A large group of perfect humans had come together to create a group called "Resistance Omega", this group of perfect humans resist the riots and Alpha Corps, the world armies are only there to calm the riots down, they cannot take part in the war between RO (Resistance Omega) and the Alpha Corps.

That would certainly be a good idea, ookami...democracy is fun. I actually had a sketch of one in mind, but I'm not quite sure I'd have enough people for it...

Hey puppet, if you'd like critique, advice, help in development, I'd suggest you create its own thread asking for our ideas and opinions. The way I understand it this is just an archive of ideas...

Here's an RP idea that I had fun doing on another forum. I'd do it, but I'm frightfully lazy and don't feel like maintaining an RP. Also, this is more of an outline or template so if it were actually to be made, then it would need a story obviously. Anyway, here you go:

  Spoiler: City of Heroes 

Well, in this roleplay, all you do is come up with a superhero. Through out the course of the roleplay, characters can interact and fight together to take out crime! As time progresses, a super villain may appear, who will be controlled by me for the time being.

Rules:
-When you make a character, their Superhero name is your name on this site. (For example, my superhero's name would be Shino.)

-They can have any superpowers they want with exceptions (See later rule)

-You are only allowed to have at most 3 superpowers. States of being are counted as superpowers. In other words, if your guy is a zombie, being a zombie would be considered a power.

-Every power has a weakness that is possible to obtain. For example: if you can regenerate from any wound, one weakness could be that you can only regenerate so long as there's nothing in the way. In other words, if someone were to shove a metal rod through your heart or brain and left it there, you'd be dead unless that object was removed.
*Side note: Your weakness can't be something like "the red dirt from some distant planet". It has to be able to be found on this planet.

-Heroes do not always win right off the bat. So make it somewhat realistic in the sense that your hero can get captured, hurt, or even killed.

-No controlling/killing other people's characters unless they say it's okay to and give you permission.

-Other Rules:
*No time powers: Stopping/rewinding/fast forwarding/ travel backwards/ travel forwards in time, etc. However, if you're a super genious as a super power, you can create machines that do that.
*no "I have a demon inside of me and therefore am uber l337" character please. But, you can have a power that summons demons.
*No mind reading powers. However, you can have the ability to speak telepathically. And move things telekinetically.
*If you're bailing out of the RP, or are going to be away from it, please tell us. If you do decide to bail, make a post telling what happens to your character. Like does he/she die, or was he/she sent someplace else?
*You don't have to say what everyone one of your powers is right away, instead, you can make it so that your powers are revealed over time.
*You can have weapons, but if they have powers, it counts as one of your three powers.
*Keep posts in the past tense, please.
Bad: We eat quickly then run away as they kill more people.
Good: We ate quickly then ran away as they killed more people.

-For the time being, you can create your own minor bad guys like thugs and robbers, but not super-villains. Super villains will be made by me as they are needed. If enough people join, then you can convert to the dark side, but I'll say when there's enough players for that...

I think that's enough rules. Though, I'll add more if they are needed for some reason...
