yea near the end everyone starts liking Light more. Basically i think thats because not many people liked Near. He's just an L wannabe brat in my opinion. Mello would have made a more interesting successor in my opinion. but yea, everyone loves the genius L.

yup i agree....Near...i didn't really like him that much cuz it seems like he didn't really care when he talks...and L was just the best one out of L Near and Mello.

and yeah, mello would've been a better sub for L.
