You're saying that Light, a strategical genius (as proven in the first 25 episodes), can't figure out that the death note "Sakujo" has is a fake? Wow, that was completely apocryphal and inconsistent with his character.

Light won, face it. That Near + Mello = L thing was a bit corny too, considering Mello didn't have anything to do with anything.
The series ended at episode 25, or at least stopped being good.

I hated it when L died, I actually wondered how they could continue the series seeing as though he played such a crutial part and i felt that without him there wouldnt be any point in watching the rest of it. Lucky i did though cause the rest didnt prove too bad

When Light died i was sad and started to cause concern for my parents since i was shouting at my computer! I sooo wanted him to live on and get away with it...i seem to have a thing for the bad guys, even if their slightly crazy

Yeah i felt the same way when L died i thought the rest wouldn't be any good. But i really enjoyed the ending i was hoping for Light to win, but it seems good always prevails in fantasy worlds lol.

It was upsetting how L died and i thought that the series would end after his death. It was so mean how Light kept saying i don't want to die I don't want to die at the end but it was good how he did ... After all he killed L he deserves it

I loved the ending. Of course he would go crazy and breakdown. He spent 7 years playing the game and he even out thought L. Then he lost at the end in front of everyone even though he was sure he was going to win. I kind of liked how Ryuk did him in. He said he would in the second episode I think.
