Default A few contest....
SOTW - Sig of the Week

AOTM - Art of the Month (you can divide this into, let's say, one month digital next hand drawn)

Caption Contest - You take a manga page and clean it out and make people add their own little story

LOTW - Lyrics of the Week - Pick a few lyrics from a song and let people decide, of course, after each day (or after a few) there comes a hint of some sort.

LOTM - Literature of the Week - Someone writes w/e they want and the best wins.

And of course

MOTM -Member of the Month

Just some to take in consideration...

Well it's late, I'm tired, I'll try to add some new ones tomorrow, lemme know what you guys think...

Pictures Contest - We gave you a theme and you will find a variety of pictures that will fit into that theme. You will then place it in an Album or just post it here.

Profile Contest - A contest based on the creation and representation of profiles.

Wow I think that all of these are good ideas! I especially like the SOTW, LOTW, and the Caption Contest XD

even though it was late and you prolly pulled these out of where the sun don't shine () ya did a good job presentin' some good 'uns ;P

that's a good idea to make here livelier but these are things every anime site has I think,and I won't apply none of them since I'm no good with pc works
