No, thing about digital art is that they're easier to clean, and with Ctrl + Z, they can fix any mistake.
Manually drawn is a giant disadvantage, cleaning the drawing has the risk of wrecking the entire thing. Unless you have photoshop or some other program, fixing the drawing still won't be enough to beat the ease of digital art coloring.
I remember another forum, they had two seperate contests, one for digital, and one for hand-drawn. If the flood of digital keeps coming in, we might have to split the contest into two...
i'm pretty shocked that i won
i thought that alot of people did waay better than me
thanks everyone ! ^__^
congrats Cademan and ViolentSkar too !
your drawings were really cool !
That would be great to have two seperate contests! I don't have the money to buy good drawing programs all I have is paint, pens and pencils heh heh ^-^ Congratulations everybody! Though they had a manual drawn one win last contest didn't they? They do look prettier when they're computer made though, however good you are.
mm i used paint.net its free
you download it off the internet
idk its the closest think to photoshop
i think xD idk
i've never had photoshop
someone on the fourms told me about it before
its pretty easy to use :] and 10000000x better than paint
On the digital vs. traditional thing. I use photoshop for the coloring but the drawings I still do with pencil and ink on a new sheet of paper using a little lightbox. I need to practice drawing straight in photoshop, but would like a larger tablet for that. The tablet I use is a refurbished 6 x 4 wacom. Littlest one you can get. It makes coloring much easier.
If your looking for an alternative to photoshop, check out ArtRage. It's only $25 and has many of the same features.
