calm down pal - what exactly are you saying? people who draw regular drawings either copy it or trace it? but with chibi its impossible to copy? really? Who the heck traces a drawing and calls it their own - if you do that then you dont deserve to be in the comp. As for the fact that chibi's are harder to draw than regulars - thats bull, the only way i can see it being harder is because you have less room to draw and your drawing in a cramped up space which by the way also means that after one stroke of your pencil you've drawn half the flipping thing because its so small. Also, chibis being so small, you can't see the mistakes and flaws the drawings have in them like my drawing (page 2) or the other larger sasuke drawing, I could go on and on....

Ya i see both ur points. i don't trace anything i just think it's disrespectfull as somwhat of an artist. I don't copy anything exactly i tweak things just a bit like drawing from a different perspective or something. I would draw chibi but i cant draw bodies right and i just don't like to draw them in general.

any artwork shows potential as long as your efforts expressed it. As i say
in my earlier post, modifying something is tough meaning drawing something
chibi is not easy, its way tougher then regular. The reasons regular drawings
doesn't prove much because you can always copy it somewhere therefore
its not an original work in most case. People that draw regular is like for
example copying off your friends homeworks word by word, but chibi is like
copying the answers but changing it entirely in your own words or style.
I mean i seen many posts about people complaining about chibi or like
forget that "sheet".Through my eyes i just see they expressing
that "hey, i dont feel like using my brain i rather copy straight off woo!"

This is quite true that copying doesn't seem hard, but here's the thing. Not everyone can even copy correctly!

For example, as myself if I were to draw ok maybe not draw but even copying the image is a challenge. Although I know it's not hard for some who has some talent or just draws regularly, it's definitely difficult for others. Thus this is why although we have a theme for this contest while still giving others the option to draw generic images. Obviously we prefer selections based on the theme but this will have to be judged by the judges or panel we have.

Yes the complaints needs to stop about Chibi. Any posts debating how Chibi drawing contest will be consider flaming and it will be deleted.
