Do you people even know what chibi's are? Most people just think they're cute, But they have to have this: an irregular head to body ratio. Usually, the head is bigger then the body.
I agree with you, its just no fun if they not aiming for a theme. Normal
drawings or actual size is really easy if you just managed to copy from
somewhere or so. I don't see a point why someone wouldn't just draw
a chibi with a big head and a small body and just get it over with, it is
truly your original work of art rather then regular.

Now I have to draw the 2nd hokage, and one of my mangers sons, and I'm, getting paid for them. hehehehe
hm, well anime and chibi are like distant cousins, cute animes are chibi.
And yeah the rules did say it doesn't have to be chibi, but that is the
theme. I'm just wondering why you can't modify something into chibi
instead of making a obvious funny excuse, anyways I'm sure if a contest
is called "Chibi" most likely they expecting for a Chibi even if your artwork
is perfected in every single way.
Anyways, i just want to clear some things out.

of course its fun without a theme, in my case i feel i cant bring out the full potential of my drawings with chibi because you need to spend more time on regulars - we arent saying we cant draw them. And anyone who can draw regular drawings can draw chibi - anyone can. Just make the eyes more watery, head larger and hey presto.

Yes i understand your point, but speaking of full potential, chibi or not
any artwork shows potential as long as your efforts expressed it. As i say
in my earlier post, modifying something is tough meaning drawing something
chibi is not easy, its way tougher then regular. The reasons regular drawings
doesn't prove much because you can always copy it somewhere therefore
its not an original work in most case. People that draw regular is like for
example copying off your friends homeworks word by word, but chibi is like
copying the answers but changing it entirely in your own words or style.
I mean i seen many posts about people complaining about chibi or like
forget that "sheet".Through my eyes i just see they expressing
that "hey, i dont feel like using my brain i rather copy straight off woo!"
...Well I'm tired of explaining, zzzz...i hope someone understands...
