Upon viewing this thread you have now been introduced to the TailedFox Summer Contest. This contest starts today, June 1st, and end on July 31st. You now have two months to contour up something unique in an effort to win a physical prize (such as a manga, plushy, ect), as well as some bragging rights. Who wouldn't want those?

Now, what is this contest? Simple, it is an art contest. At first thought you might be thinking of artwork, such as drawing, painting, computering, you know, canvas like work. Well that is not the case at all.
This contest is any form of art you can create.
What I mean by that, is exactly as it sounds. There are no reasons that something you made should not be considered an art. Here are some examples of what I mean
-AMv's
-Drawings
-Sculpting
-FanFic
-Doujin (non-hentai)...
-Cosplay (self made, not bought straight off Ebay)
-Music
-Graphic works
-Flash video
And really anything else you can make.

Now, there has to be a catch. Correct, there is. There is a theme to this, and its a vary broad theme to make it easy for you.
The Theme, is Naruto[SUP]TM[/SUP]
No, not the character, but the whole franchise. Characters, story-plots, the world, anything that is Naruto.

Rules of the Contest

1: You must be a member of the TailedFox Mainsite, or Forum. This will ensure that we are giving to the prize to a loyal member.
2: All entries are to be kept secret until the end of the contest, or until they are no long in the running. The reason for this is we do not want to have biest votes. With no one truely knowing who's art is who's, it will stop people from simply voting for their friends, rather than who's art they really think is better.
3: Please fallow the Forums rules when entering. I do not want any hentai or flaming. As cool as it would be to have someone draw Kakashi hitting me with a lighting blade, we must refrain from that. However, displaying members in a positive manner, such as matched combat, friends with, or any other 'not them being destroyed' deal, is allowed.
4: There is no limit to how many artwork pieces you may enter.
5: Keep gore out of the art please
6: Anyone and everyone is more than welcome to enter. Due to how it is going to be ran, mods and admins can enter the contest. We want as many people to participate as we can get.

How the contest will run

After completing your art, you will need to send it to me at

Please title the Email 'TailedFox Entire' and in the Email list what your username is. I will keep all entries until the entire period is over. When you send in the entree, please state the fallowing
Artwork Title:
Site Username:
Flavor Text: (anything you want said about the artwork you submit)

Once the entree period is over, I use a random generator to place all the entries up against one another in a one on one style. From there a thread will be opened with a voting system and will run for a set amount of time. How many entries entered will determine the time-frame. It will more than likely be a 24 hour voting period. The winner will advance to the next round until one is truly victorious.

I like how the contest are being very broad and generous...
but correct me if I'm wrong, does it mean in the end there will be something
like comparing a nice piece of music against let say...a nice piece of drawing.

No need to sign up. Just make something and send it in. As many as you want.

Now, for the Music Vs Drawing, its a voting contest, so whatever people think is better. Its just as hard to write a song as it is to draw. Likewise, its just as hard to make a costume as it is to do either of those. Its fair game on everything.
