There hasn't been a Drawing Contest for a while and I thought it should be time for doing an official one like the Naruto drawing contest and the Valentine drawing contest. Though the question would be if this should be themed? Or character based? Or what ever weird suggestions you could make for this contest. I think we should be able to brainstorm some themes, characters and weird suggestions, put them into a poll and well be having a Drawing Contest before easter, wich reminds me....

My suggestion is an Easter Theme Drawing Contest.

Only one suggestion per person, else we have about 100 suggestions in one day, so think of your best one! I think we should be able to have over 10 options before end of next week, so this suggestion thread will stay open till march the 16th. Then a week of voting and after that maybe a month for a drawing contest. You can, ofcourse, vote on your own suggestion. So maybe we should get the 10 most serious suggestions in the poll, so not everyone only votes for himself/herself.

Maybe it's not for me to set ground rules for a contest, but it's just a concept:

1:The entries on the contest must be drawn, weither by photoshop or paper drawings.
2:The entries can be in black and white, but color is also accepted (with paper drawings make sure your colors are not to light, so colour thick)
3:With paper drawings, you can use anything. Ink, charcoal, pencil, acrylics, water colors or stifts.
4:With PC made drawings, make sure you make it not to big, this goes faster then u think. Also try to safe it as a JPEG or GIF* so other people who don't got photoshop or alike can also view the picture.
5:One entry per person.


I think that the moderators and admins should judge the contest, but I don't want to ruin the fun if they want to join the contest (and obviously judges can't enter the contest)

I'm sure i've opened it... Original Characters contest... but the reason it isnt getting any entries would probably be lack of prizes or that the drawers of this forum have the skill to draw yet dont have the creative ability to back it up... (greedy bastards... just do it for fun...)

im a very talented artist (or so i have the illusion of) and i can turn something im working on, into something comeplty differnt then what i wanted it to be when i started it. Unfourntley the pictular piece of art has already been finished, so i guess i will wait to i here the theme.


Suggestions? How about each person draws a character from the show, in a certain theme. And the best wins. Perosnally i dont care what the theme is. As long as its nothing like a easter bunny or something retarded like that.

Original Characters meaning as in characters made by you, and only you, the characters must be Original enough, as in, "no Sasuke Imitates" (eg. No Sasuke imitates like a different name, clothing, eye colour during the sharingan-like eye technique, different clan name etc.) Cos i'm sick and tired of some people making these imitates, Flurpie's is OK, cos i know her dedication to Rock Lee. Also this sort is an interesting way to see a person's imaginative ability, Puppet has some of the greatest on this Board.
