Anyways, Original Characters are a good idea, but i don't see how that fits in, on a Naruto Forum. I mean, aren't we trying to be fans of Naruto? So shouldn't we draw something from Naruto?

@Ichijin: When you create a new Character's drawing you subconciously recall to other images of anime. Herefor in every new image you can find an old Anime character. And where can I find PuppetMaster's drawings of his new characters? I agree with Species, this contest should be about Naruto characters. However when the poll is up everyone gets to vote so if the Original character theme comes up as a winner we will do that contest.
The poll is also to pick wichever category most people want to draw, so we got alot of contesters.

Of course... but a Naruto Forums doesnt mean everything's 100% Naruto, think variety, otherwise you're talking extreme conformist (Nazis). Anyways, it doesnt have to be from some other anime, it could be Naruto based, remember the Original Characters thread? this contest derives from that thread...

2nd bold writing: of course, but that doesnt mean that we cant draw something else... its just like having the same breakfast lunch and dinner 24/7 if we do nothing but draw characters from Naruto, in other words, it gets stale unless you do a bit of variety and leave Naruto for a bit, like recharging or something.

More possibilities?... hmmm lemme think...

Urban Clothing (put some characters in urban clothing, like i dunno, biker's outfit? there's heaps, like businessman)
Crossovers (cross them over with another character from either a video game or another anime, we've seen plenty of in-anime cross-overs)
Joking (this is not only relevant in terms of artwork but the joke displayed, actually the joke gets 75% of the marks)
Fight Scene (display a fight scene between two of any characters, can be serious, can be hilarious or like Gai and Kakashi's scissors, paper, rock, unusual battle combinations gain extra marks)

Yea, i know i just want to draw Naruto =)

I have a suggestion:
Naruto crossover with a live action series. Like putting Naruto Characters into a hit movie. For example (i think some one drew it already though) drawing the naruto characters to the matrix, or the Simspons (although that one isnt live action =D).

I want to draw Naruto Kakashi Sakura and Sasuke fighting thousands of Aliens from the Alien film franchise. >=) swwwwweeeeeettttt i already pictured it in my mind... i might just have to go draw that regardless of a contest >=)
