MACINTOSH X
500 MHz Powerpc G3 192 MB SDRAM This freaking screen keeps flashing blue, not the "blue error message" blue, but as in the pixel RGB blue, and it's driving me nuts, there is a lot of screen play and the bars sometimes go all the way across the screen, or the whole screen will appear through a blue tint. I read somewhere that resetting the PRAM might help, but should i do that, and will it erase anything if i do? please respond quickly this is driving me more crazy than the normal Kystal crazy @_@ |

Try this. I've had experience with Macs
Restart hold down Apple+S if it brings you to a command prompt, type this: HTML Code:
/sbin/fsck -yf 2. Restart Hold Down Apple+AltOption+P+R to reset the Pram 3. Restart Hold Down Apple+AltOption+O+F when command prompt shows up on screen type: reset-nvram (then press enter) set-defaults (Then Press Enter) reset-all (computer will reboot) I'm not sure if it works for older versions, but it works for Leopard. Btw, that's a pretty old Mac. You should probably buy the new Leopard/Snow Leopard OS, or just buy a new Mac.

Whew thanks you guys again for the help and WOOT another texan let's rule the world man/girl
.But guess what? my screen isn't doing it anymore. You know why? My mother's genius place of storing the bloody laptop was on top of a record player. It was screwing up the screen somehow. now that i've set it in a new place, the screen is acting normal, and no problems with hardware or anything. YAYA! ![]() |
