I've never figured out how to load scanned pics to the internet to put on websites.

I know how to get my pics on deviantart, and even make them into icons and siggys, but i cant seem to find the URLS for the pics that I scan.

I know it's a stupid question, but I'm such a noobie, and I don't get things really fast^^

Actually, it's pretty easy. Right click the full-size image of whichever picture you have on DeviantArt and click "View Image." Then the address bar on your web browser tells you where the image is. Copy the address bar. Or, you can right click the image and say "Copy Image Location." Then, when you do a paste, you'll have exactly where the image is.

Depending on the type of code you're using, just find out what the image tags are, and wrap that location around them. You should have your image when you save/post.
The code for this forum is [ img]http://www...[/img], without the space in the first tag.

Alternatively, you can use a site that offers image hosting as a free service (Photobucket is the most common). Create an account, then upload your image to your album by finding it on your computer. When you can see it in your album, click the IMG Code field under it, and it it will automatically copy the image source wrapped in IMG tags for you, and all you have to do is paste.
For example, this is my photobucket album. In it are several avatars I've used for this site, my contest entry, and images I've needed to upload for other sites.

Do you know where the image is? Can you tell me where it is? (your DeviantArt profile, etc.)

Here, just quote this post and then right click "Copy" on the picture.
(You can also say "copy image location" and then put the location around [ img][/img] tags)
