Default AVG or Avast?
A lot of people consider one of these anti-viruses better than the other, or both of them equal. Which do prefer or use?

Hard choice, but I'd say Avast. AVG for me didn't find as many trojans/viruses as Avast did and the updates took forever for AVG, and are much faster for Avast, but it might just be my comp D: No criticism for AVG though , because it is good and has high ratings

What about you guys?

I like AVG, my computer doesn't get to many viruses so I really need it for spyware's all the time. It gets the job done for sure, I don't need any high tech Virus scanner when I only visit a few sites on the interwebz. Plus if I have a virus AVG gets rid of it easily.

i would go for avg, had both of then one day and with avast there was a problem i couldn`t delete it ... also avg is faster i think...

I have Avast, and it works nicely, I can't really vote...because I've never had AVG...

AVG, fast, doesn't slow down your comp, and it scans viruses live so you don't need to manually scan them ever.

Dunno about AVAST, but Norton makes your comp run a lot slower then it should.

Lol, recently switched to AVG Internet Security full version, because Avast was a little too hard to use, and I couldn't even find an automatic scan feature in Avast. And the full version of AVG is definitely better in my opinion XD

Nod32 =D My personal favourite.
It's pretty light, and it is a big relief for my comp. compared to Norton >.>

Plus, It is constantly scanning files and the internet.

I'll revive this...

AVG....
AVG detecs things like keygens, cracks, addons, mods and traineds
as Viruses, I hate that really much. It can be a pain in the ass.
Besides that it's pretty good...

I use nod and as Zim said, it's my favorite too
It's almost teh same as AVG + one improvement...
Doesn't detect everything like a virus...

Norton is by far the best anti virus that has ever existed...
But it slows down your comp, because it uses his performance
to maintain max security...

Avast, I really, really don't like it, and I'm not using it...
Bit defender... Never used it so I don't know...
Kasperski.... It's Good, but a pain in the ass

NOD 32 FTW..

AVG would be the best bet out of your ones there and lol......@Filip the great i hope what you said about Norton was a quip because it is not anywhere near the best Anti Virus.

I have to say though i do agree with you about NOD 32 though. NOD 32 Is one of the best i have used and is currently what im using on two of my desktops so i would say maybe look a bit more into that and see werther it suits your needs.
