Default Hmm Can someone help me please????
I am having a hard time deciding if i should get the PS3 i just want to know what it does?? Like is it like the psp where it plays games but you spend more time listening to music and surfing the internet on? if so i'll get but i just want to know some more about it so any help will be greatly appreciated.

well psp is a portable which you can bring anywhere, and ps3 is a console. There are few good games coming out for it since I saw some on e3 2008.

I don't own ps3 so i can't say much about it

I dont really like 360 because xbox pisses me off. does any own a ps3 and can recommend it

why dont you read about both the 360 and the ps3 on like GameSpot:Video Games PC PlayStation 2 Xbox 360 Wii PS3 GameCube PSP DS GBA PS2 PlayStation 3 or something, thats what i would do. and figure out yourself wich one is more for you.

but heres somethings i know off the top of muh head

I've always been a huge xbox fan, but i would probably get the ps3
i dont have either cause i build computers now and play pc games lol
but i do know thing
the ps3 has FREE online play, 360 is $50 a year (wich isnt bad at all, but its compared to nothing...its something lol)
the ps3 as this cool home thing, where you make your own person that looks like you (i think you can actually make it look like yourself too) and you just chill with other people. but i dont know all the details about that.
when it comes to games, im stuck. ps3 has Metal Gear Solid 4 and 360 is gonna have Fable 2. both are in my list of favorite games so idk lol.
but id go with a ps3 over a 360, free online play. and i think it has way cooler features.
thats just my opinion though.

Well I have a PS3, and I have to say it's a great buy. The fact that it serves as a Blue-Ray player is huge in itself. A Blue-Ray player on its own will cost you around $400, and the fact that the PS3 costs just as much makes it seem like a steal. I use my PS3 for mostly gaming, but I also like watching movies on Blue-Ray with it. It's an awesome buy and Sony is finally getting some great games for the console. My PS3 also has Wi-Fi, which is nice seeing how I don't have to worry about too many cords. If you're looking for more of an all-around entertainment console I'd say go for it, otherwise if you're the type that just likes gaming go with a 360, or if you're a casual gamer that does it more as a social thing with friends you should go for the Wii. So yea, it really kinda depends on you and the uses you want out of your game console.

i forgot about the blu-ray player
i just bought a blu-ray drive for my computer, only $150
the player is around $400 but the computer drive is only $150 =D
another reason why computers pwn all

my brother own a ps3..... and yes he is addicted to it. so it kinda prove that its better in a way i guess. And also a ps3 is more for home and if you have a psp and play on all the time it is antisocial!
