Anyways, i've been wondering, what are the unlockables? cant be bothered to poke around looking for the 11 unlockables

What, as in characters? I'm not too sure who they all are... I know for a fact that I still have more characters to get because one trophy you collect is only available after all characters are unlocked. I'm really hoping it isn't like it was in Melee where one way of unlocking a character (I think it was Mewtwo) was by playing over 700 hours of fights... In which case, I'll have to plug in four controllers and let it sit for an extended amount of time...

But if that's not what you mean, I do know that one unlockable is the Boss fight which you get after beating the adventure mode... And then there's the 3 part sets that you can unlock for the map editors (Which sound cool I know, but the really aren't that special...)

As for any other things, I've either all ready unlocked them but forgot about them, or I haven't unlocked them yet... I think I get something if I can clear 2500 feet in the home run contest... Right now the closest to that I've gotten is with Lucas and I got 1963 feet with him. In a demo video, it shows a clip of how Lucas can get over 2500 feet and I've been trying to copy it with almost no success...

Oh, and something I just found out this morning: Playing the Shadow Moses Island level with only bumpers as weapons that appear is insanely crazy...

And I'll give my reviews on each of them. Warning, there are spoilers. I warned you...

1. Diddy Kong (from Donkey Kong Country),

He's a faster character which makes him very light as well... His final Smash makes his get his jet pack at which point he flies around launching powerful peanuts that explode at his foes.

2. Ike (from Fire Emblem),

Definitely NOT a clone character. A fun guy to use who's a bit slower than Marth but has lots of power. His final smash is just sweet. It does a sword combo then drags whoever's in it down to the ground and launches the to the top, and possibly off, of the screen. Don't use if there's a hole in the middle of the level -_-

3. King Dedede (from Kirby),

I like to compare him to bowser in his power. His forward smash attack is insanely power and can kill lighter guys in one hit. He's a slower one but out of all the heavy guys, he has the highest jump (He can fly like Kirby, just not as long).

He also has the ability to suck up and spit of people. And his final smash is just plane silly, mosty becuse of the tune that it plays when you do it. I also have always loved his theme song.

4. Lucario (from Pokemon),

It's Mewtwo! The only difference is that Lucario is actually decent when it comes to fighting. He's faster than Mewtwo, has an immense final smash that's controllable, and I believe the more damage he takes, the more launch power he has behind his attacks.

Like for instance, in one event you do with him, he starts with 182% damage and you have to fight two people who each have no damage. One smash attack kills both of them.

5. Lucas (from Mother 3/EarthBound 2),

I actually like Lucas. He's kind of a clone character based off Ness but he does have different moves. The PK Storm final smash is really fun to try and dodge.

6. Meta Knight (from Kirby),

Yet another one of my favorites. The dark knight that kinda sucks fighting on the ground. What I mean is, unless you're a fast button tapper, Metaknight is a bit hard to use while he's on the ground. However, if you send people into the air, fly up to them and do aerial attacks. They seem to launch people a lot better and also seem to do more damage. A fun final smash where you see him throw his cape over himself then he does a really powerful slash that can kill people if they have damage on them.

7. Pikmin & Olimar,

... I hate him so I'm Only going to say this: A freak who throws pikmin as his attacks. A final Smash that sends him into a rocket. Everyone takes massive damage below him and finally, the rocket crashes killing anyone who's directly under it.

8. Pit (from Kid Icarus),

Another flyer. I'm not the best with him, but he does have potential. Using a bow the splits into two swords, he attacks people with slightly weaker attacks. He's also in the fast group. His final smash send angels flying at people to hit them.

9. Pokemon Trainer (controls 3 Pokemon, you switch between Squirtle, Ivysaur, and Charizard to fight),

I like using him. Pokemon trainer covers all three classes of fighters (light usually with higher jumps, faster speeds and weak attacks, medium with average attacks and jumps and speeds, and heavy with powerful attacks but not to great speed or jump.

I love using Charizard's rock smash attack because it's incredibly powerful if you get direct hits. Final smash sends all three pokemon out to unleash a powerful mix of water, grass, and fire like beams.

10. R.O.B. (Robotic Operating Buddy — from Gyromite & Stack-Up),

I'm not a fan... He pretty good though if you felt like using him. Has a third jump which allows to basically hover wherever you want until it runs out. His final smash causes him to tweak out and start shooting waves and laser and people near him

11. Solid Snake (from Metal Gear Solid),

Some people will just absolutely love him. He has strong attacks but his smash attacks leave him vulnerable due to the fact that they take longer than most to do.

His final Smash puts him on the ladder of a helicopter allowing him to launch grenades at his foes.

12. Sonic the Hedgehog,

A light class character. by far he is definitely the fast character. People who love using the fast people will love him. He lacks a bit in strength but does has one of the highest 3rd jumps.

his final smash makes him go Super Sonic at which point he flies around the screen. He launches people when he hits them. You can control him in this mode but it's kinda hard to control...

13. Wario,

His moves are lame, but are pretty strong... that's about all I can think to say about him... His final smash makes him "Wario Man" or "Super Wario" or whatever it's called. In this mode, he's invincible and has some really nasty attacks that just destroy people.

14. Wolf (from Star Fox).

I haven't got him yet but from what I understand, he's a clone character. His final smash brings down Star Wolf's version of the landmaster. If people are on top of it, you can fly them up and send them off the top of the screen. It also shoots a power shot at people and can roll causing extra damage.

15. Bowser (from Mario),

it's everyone's favorite sadistic turtle! I haven't used him much yet but he's practically the same as he was in Melee. His final smash makes him Gig Bowser. In this mode, he's extremely difficult to launch and all his attacks get a major power boost.

16. Captain Falcon (from F-Zero),

He's seems slightly slower to me in Brawl but the rest of him is pratically the same as in Melee. His final smash is a close ranged one. When someone is really close to you, he'll send in his racer, the Blue Falcon, at which point he proceed to run them over sending foes flying.

17. Donkey Kong,

Not much changed for him. His final smash is a bit lame if you ask me. What it does is that you see he start playing the bongo drums to his theme song. If you're near it, it will cause damage to you, but not exatcly that much unless you get stuck in it.

18. Falco Lombardi (from Star Fox),

Seems a bit slower but it may just be me... the clone of Fox returns. As a final Smash, he calls in a Landmaster.

19. Fox McCloud (from Star Fox),

I think his speed was also brought down a bit too. Still the same as in Melee. He also calls in a Landmaster as a Final Smash.

20. Ganondorf (from The Legend of Zelda),

he runs funny -_- Practically the same moves. They look slightly different to accommodate his Twilight Princes version of himself. his final smash turns him into Ganon from Twilight Princess and then he charges at people sending the flying. Personally, I wish he turned into the Ganon from OoT. that one was by far the coolest to me.

21. Ice Climbers,

The same... Duel hitting=killing people a lot faster. Like in Melee, completely useless is Nana dies. For a final smash, a giant chunk of ice appears in the middle of the level. Foes get constant damage when near it and sometime turn into icicles themselves. A good final smash if you're on a small level.

22. Jigglypuff (from Pokemon),

I actually like using jigglypuff because everyone says she sucks Then I own them and the feel pissed that they'd lose to that... thing... A really gay final smash that makes her increase in size filling up a portion of the screen. She screams, "Jiggly!" then deflates... Oh, don't touch her when she increases in size...

23. Kirby,

The pink puffball returns! The same moves. His final smash makes him "Chef Kirby". he throws everyone into a cooking pot, cooks them cause lots of damage, then launches them away. It also drops items, usually food.

24. Link (from The Legend of Zelda),

His jump seems a bit worse. He also is now in his Twilight Princess costume. Speaking of costumes, i love his black color costume, it makes him Dark Link.

For a Final Smash, he does a massive, really sweet slashing combo to whom ever it hits then does an incredibly powerful jab that launches a foes off the screen most of the time. It's my favorite final smash.

25. Luigi (from Mario),

He's the same... His final smash ties Jiggly Puffs in gayness only because of the dance he does. It's a lot more effective in that anyone who gets caught gets put to sleep and get 'flower' damage. The amass a lot of damage but you have to go in there to kill them off with your own hands.

26. Mario,

His down B move no longer is a spin. Now it uses the F.L.U.D.D from Mario Sunshine to spit water at people. Other than that, pretty much the same... A really cool final smash that sends a massive fire ball at people. If you're caught in to, it will push you off the screen.

27. Marth (from Fire Emblem),

He's the same, maybe a bit faster. His Final Smash does a really powerful sword strike that usually kills people who have any damage on them.

28. Mr. Game & Watch (from classic Game & Watch games),

The same... His final smash turns him into an octopus at which point he hits people with strong hits from his tentacles.

29. Ness (from EarthBound),

The same. His final Smash is also PK Storm. I think it's more stronger than Lucas's.

30. Pikachu (from Pokemon),

The same... his final smash makes him into a ball of electricity which you make fly around the screen. It has a pretty good punch as well.

31. Princess Peach (from Mario),

the same... Her final smash puts everyone to sleep who's on the ground. If someone gets respawned or is in mid-air through out the animation of Peach final smash, it holds no effect on them. Also, it drops a lot of food to eat.

32. Princess Zelda (and her Sheik transformation after using the down special move),

The same except Zelda's in he Twilight Princes costume. I dunno what it is, but her black costume just makes her so fricken hot to me... Anyway, as a final smash, she uses a Light Arrow. Whomever it hits usually dies. The final smash is the same with Shiek unfortunately...

33. Samus Aran (and her Zero Suit Samus transformation after using Final Smash — from Metroid),

Again, the same. Samus's final smash launches a massive beam across the stage. If you're in it, then it will push you off the edge of the map and kill you. Then, after the beam depletes, She turns into Zero Suit Samus.

Not really the best fighter... but does have some good moves. Zero Suit Samus will only turn back into normal Samus for her final smash.

34. Toon Link (from The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker),

Clone in every sense of the word. The only difference is that Toon Link is really fast and has a high jump.

Oh, and to the poster who posted all these guys, Toon Link wasn't in Melee, that was Young Link. The difference between Toon and Young is that Toon is faster.

35. Yoshi (from Mario).

Same... His final smash makes him grow wings and fly around shooting fire based attacks at people. One is a flame thrower of sorts and the other is a powerful fireball.

My favorite characters (From Melee) were Captain Falcon, and Zelda/Sheik. I guess I can kind of add some insight there.

I'm not sure how it works in Brawl exactly, but Cap'ns standard attack is the falcon punch. It is pretty slow, but way powerful for a standard attack. It can knock them down pretty easy. Falcon kick is a good spontaneous attack, that is versatile, and makes it easier to keep your opponents from charging up attacks.

Zelda is...different. Her standard ice crystal attack I've found can reflect attacks to some degree. Her teleportation attack can actually hurt the enemy is you time it right. Din's Fire is pretty weak unless you charge it up, but that leaves you vulnerable.

Sheik is more combat-oriented. Her needle storm attack is fast, and the chain attack is pretty powerful. She's alot faster than Zelda, too.
