Yea I'm also kinda out of the loop on the last part of the episode. I still have no clue what happened to Kuro there after his head was taken off.
Aside from that ambiguous ending, I really enjoyed this anime. The animation was spectacular and the fight scenes were intense. The plot could have been better, but at least they didn't try to make it overly complex. Very good anime 8/10
