Claymore is the sword Claymore from i think it was Scottish legend, not sure but it's definetely European. Also Claymore isnt their organisation's name, actually it's nameless, though the women in it may be Yoma demons, but they're still human, so they're more of a half. If they let that Yoma side take over they become an Awakened One, an extremely strong top class Yoma.

Technically it's nameless, however there are some areas where the organizations call themselves Claymores with each other so in terms of the name, it's really up to debate since it could indeed be the animators flaws.

This is a fairly short one to catch, while we're waiting for Naruto. Very well made IMO, the ending however is another story...
