it's more human like and the hollow dosn't have a tail so if you think about how how actual hollows are evolved and such then this might mean that he's getting a lot stronger in the sense that he's taking a more human like form as opposed to looking simply like a hollow,
so what i'm curious of is how'd he get the new mask(3 possible reasons how he might have gotten it)

1. did he get this new power simply by dieing and having inoue cry for him and his need to protect her or is it

2. sign of a much deeper internal affair in which the inner hollow is beginning to win the power struggle

3. or that ichigo when he died lost full control of his body and gave into the inner hollow and he became more of the true hollow's form in which he isn't able to resist the hollow inside himself and this is the inner hollows actual form.

(some of the 3 idea's might be blended together but tell me what you think and whethe ror not this is simply just a "classic dragon ball move" were he just obtains power...)

It's because he went Hollow Level 2...
It seems he adapted that within his Hollow-like powers and thus got a new mask and clearly more power as how he totally pwnd Yamii.
So basically, because he went into Hollow Level 2.

but it seems a lttle bit different then most hollows in the sense it skipped mundo (for obvious reasons I understand lol but what I mean is that is that gonna be it's last form now or will it turn into something similiar to a "vastro lord" which seems a tad ridiculous that his inner hollow has "forms" now

i dont know i think it matters if the series is ending soon or not if it is this is probably the final level if it isnt he'll probaly keep growing

hope it won't end soon I enjoy this anime I honestly wish ichigo would develope his own skills or soemthing cause he only seems to be using his zanpakutohs power or his inner hollow he should develope his personal moves cause only things he's using are the tchniues/moves he learned from his.... oh well thanks for the insight guys

i think it goes something like this...

the hollow form when ichigo has a tail is when he lets his inner hollow take over. so the tailed form is level 2 of his inner hollow. this new one i think is also from his inner hollow but when he has more control. so inner transform it seems like a normal hollow when in full control but the new one is when ichigo is in more control.

remember when he went level 2 with the tail he had an agreement with the inner that he would let him take over for awhile. its pretty much explained in the anime against muramasa.

final point for thread then it can be put to rest is that the prediction by howling was correct :P when he said "ya remember when ichigo had his inner fight with his hollow? it said it would come back and he wouldnt have its true power till then" it wa sproven right by the fact that ichigo is having problems getting to use his hollow mask cause it's coming towards another white and black fight I hope :P
