  Spoiler: Plot Summary 
Keita Ibuki is an independent and struggling freelance computer programmer who had a chance meeting on one night with a high Mototsumitama named Kuro. He gives her his dinner, a bowl of ramen, and tries to protect her when she is attacked in an ambush by an unknown Mototsumitama. Keita loses his entire left arm during the fight between the Mototsumitamas, but Kuro was able to save his life by exchanging the decapitated arm with her own left arm since she has enhanced healing abilities like all Mototsumitamas. This creates a contract between them, which makes her more powerful than before. However, Kuro warns Keita that they need to be together all the time in order to be at their strongest.

OH MY GOD! KG DUDE I've been waiting on this one for months! It has alot of promise!

EDIT: Just finished watching the episode...excellent overall graphics and character design...masterful plot development as well but not sure how the character development is going to be but what I've seen is good so far. This is one of the best first episodes I've seen from an anime.

I agree. The first episode was outstanding. The question now is how will the plot develop from here? I've been reading the manga, and so far the plot is differing a lot from the original manga adaptation, so I'm a little apprehensive on how it's going to pan out later.

Hoping for good stuff from future episodes!

Lookin good so far...the whole contract deal kinda reminded me of code geass and zatch bell....still Kurokami is dark and different. Check out Chrome Shelled Regios too, it sorta came out right at new years.

Good episode...but I wonder if its going to have more character development or just stay one dimensional with the whole "Kuro gets ass kicked and kicks guy's ass" thing. still cool though
