Kinda reminds me of Zelda... How when you kill the final huge-ass boss, all you get is this small yet powerfully valuable thing

I think it was Kusaka... He was killed, then reincarnated in Hueco Mundo, ran off and stole the King's Seal, and using that power he turned back into his normal self.

Also, this is a movie, all it is is to show another character's backstories or when Kubo feels like showing everyone some sort of story.

I also still don't get the two Hyourinmarus...
