As Kaori looked around, his mind started to race. After bringing shame to his family those many years ago, he would finally have the chance to redeem himself. He walked with his head hung limply, seemingly analyzing every rock or grain of dirt that covered the ground. Yet, he was focusing on a boy a few paces ahead of him, where the shadows seemed to almost try and flee from the area around him and his demonic form. Kaori was raised in this hellish way, being a simple human surrounded by those who were stronger, more well built, naturally smarter, yet he had held his own long enough to become as strong, no, stronger then most of these demons. The aura around this boy was a mix of muddied pink and a darker grey, giving him the energy of a slightly nervous and immature person, like any normal human teenager. This surprised Kaori, for he was used to the aura of any demon to be dramatically darker, but maybe that was just based on the areas in which he had traveled. But now, this town was bustling with activity, shopkeepers shouting about there wares, tourists eagerly spying the merchandise, being enticed by the praise for each object. Kaori had long since learned how to ignore these features of any town, especially one with a competition such as this right around the corner... (Sorry Tsumi!
