Lightning, come on it does looks the coolest, electricity flowing around your body. I cant wait to see Sasuke do his ultimate lightning technique against Itachi in the anime episodes. Also Kakashi looks wicked when he does the Raikiri. Also technically it's the fastest of all the attacks, i mean try avoiding a bolt of thunder.

Water, second choice. Just coz there seems to be an elegance and smoothness about a ninja controlling water (Kisame isnt really a good example). Again making you cool. Also the shear mass of it that you can generate makes it incredibly powerful, it'll be like buildings falling upon your opponent.
