There are multiple way of obtaining a MS..
Killing your best friend, killing your brother, kakashi's way and etc....
That is why sasuke has a different MS now...
Every Uchiha gets a different ms, it's unique for everyone...

I have a question for you.How do you think Sasuke obtained his MS? I give you the answer right away.
It wasn't from killing his brother,but it was from Itachi transplating somehow his jutsus into Sasuke eyes.Also,I don't think all of the people who obtain the MS goes blind.We haven't seen Kakashi going blind because of his sharigan.Also,as far as I know Madara little brother wasn't going blind.Probably,not everyone who awakens a MS goes blind.
