Anyway, the only problem I have with this anime is how they show the climax of the episode at the very beginning of any particular episode. It kind of bothers me because you see someone and immediately say, oh... there's a Kor, or there's a plot device...

Kinda make sense, but unless that 3 wishes are given technically Mikage will still be semi conscious to some extent. Regardless, I wouldn't be surprised if Teito had the ability to eliminate Kors later on in the story.
About Kors in relations to Ayanami, this part I can't really piece them together just yet.
