I meant to put this up a long time ago but have been too busy to do so until now.

Index is produced by the same studio that gave us Shakugan no Shana and Toradora, and the feel of it reminds me a lot of Shana as well, so if you liked that anime I would recommend giving this one a try.

It also has some other interesting elements that set it apart from Shana such as the inclusion of Espers and Alchemists making it unique by the standards of other fantasy/magic animes out there. It also has some well place comedic elements that attract even the casual fan making it enjoyable in that respect too. Index has definitely been one of the better shows this season, so I'd recommend giving it a shot.
