Teito Klein is a former slave sent to attend the Barsburg Empire's military academy due to his ability to use Zaiphon, a type of supernatural power. This ability is rare, and thus highly prized. Teito is an amnesiac and doesn't remember anything of his origins—what he does learn of his past comes from his recurring and often traumatizing dreams. However, all of it is going to change during his final test before serving the army officially....

Hmm... I like it, it's good, but it feels overall familiar so far. Kinda like the game Blue Dragon, that is, it's a good game, but you already know what it's all about. It feels like I've seen it before. When I put it on my MAL account, I read a review that kinda had the same idea... They said it's kind of like throwing Code Geass, Trinity Blood, and Full Metal Alchemist together and ya basically got this show...
Not that that's bad, in fact I liked all those shows, but it is right.. It just feels familiar right now.
