* Enjoy this episode of One Piece 533 entitled "Emergency Situation - The Ryugu Palace is Occupied". Strawhats hold King Neptune and the entire Ryugu Palace hostage. Luffy takes Princess Shirahoshi for a ride in her Megalo shark. See us in our Anime Forum for discussions.

The Straw Hat Pirates are now facing a great dilemma of their lives, as they tried to escape from Ryugu Palace. On the other hand, the Mermaid Princess will finally get the answer to her prayers, courtesy of Luffy! We see Luffy stuffing Princess into the body of Megalo and swimming out of the palace tower.

There are two good points in this episode, the Straw Hats getting accused of mermaid killings. Mermaid Princess first got scared of Luffy but they became friends. Zoro's return is also a great thing, the fans missed him! The Fish-men pirates are also getting involved.  These bits of pieces are still forming together to build a more solid story. But it's always like that in One Piece, you'll never realize that this small portion will have a great impact on some parts, not until you get to the finale of the storyline. That's what I like in One Piece, it makes the fans more patient and analytical.

The original plan was to escape the palace, but when Zoro arrives things got exaggerated. You will see that Neptune was handcuffed and the Straw Hats managed to control the whole palace. In short, they have successfully conquered the Ryugu Palace and effectively held it hostage! Neptune's sons won't be happy when they come back, so they have to act quickly! And of course, Zoro has his share of goofy stuff again when he answered the phone. Zoro is really like that, he doesn't know how to socialize with people, and when he does it will surely cause more problems!

In the previous One Piece episodes, Jimbei talked to the princes and he had an important message for Luffy. It is still indefinite why Jimbei wants to warn Luffy about Hordy, and this is where the intriguing part arises. Hordy is now the new head of the Fish-men pirates, which makes Luffy consider the past.

I'm still uncertain about what to expect for this arc, for it is still early to conclude anything. After the Marineford arc, I personally enjoyed the flashback arc. I know the fans want more of the Princess' shark and of course the big role that Hordy will portray in the coming One Piece episodes.

Getting back to the past few episodes, I know that you will agree with me that we are all tired of seeing the Fairy Tail members getting crushed, knock down, and beaten up. This whole arc is really crucial for the guild. Thankfully, this latest episode saves everyone from despair, and as the cliche goes "It's payback time!"

The magic powers of everyone are back, a big thanks to Erza for defeating Azuma. Eventhough Rusty used his strongest attacks, Freed and Bickslow are able to beat him up. My favorite part is when everyone helped each other to defeat Rusty. Bickslow was able to team up with Elfman in blocking Rusty's attack, then came the combo of Freed and Lisanna. The battle's ending is a sweet victory for Fairy Tail!

But of course, let's not forget Gildarts who also gets back to the track and kicks Bluenote's butt! Eventhough we've only seen Gildarts fight twice, the first one was with Natsu and now with Bluenote, it's still hard to understand Gildarts' real magic. He has this magic that can break things, like a cutting magic. He's also incredibly strong. He's so strong that he just destroyed a black hole and zooms Bluenote into the sky, goodbye to you problem-maker.

The guild members get back to the camp and regrouped. And then Gray finally meets with Ultear. For me, Gray is one of the most amazing characters in the series, but his role would always be the minor ones with other characters taking the main role. In short, Gray is not always given the main focus unlike Erza or Natsu. And now it's time for Gray to take the spotlight, he finally meets Ultear. This meeting is unexpected, I thought this will happen in a later date. But Fairy Tail knows exactly what the fans want.

Ultear talks but Gray unexpectedly understands her. Gray is like a knight in shining armor when he saved Juvia from Ultear. It's great that there's a connection with the Deliora arc, where Gray almost used the Iced Shell. Gray has changed a lot since then, but thanks to Natsu from stopping him, and it somehow contributes to his personality right now, the kind of person who understands someone like Ultear. Meldy was also surprised to finally see the real Ultear. She's disappointed but I think it won't be easy for her to just abandon her so-called mother. 

The next part would be the most exciting battle between Gray and the leader of the 7 kin of Purgatory. I have faith on Gray's power and strength, because he started it by defeating Ultear. Stay stuck FT fans!

In the Fishman Island, the Straw Hat pirates are now wanted by the police because of a wrong accusation and prediction. But can the authorities handle the witty Straw Hats? In the Ryugu Palace, a mysterious Mermaid Princess meets Luffy and shares her sadness. And there's an alliance emerging on the ocean floor.

In this episode, it is funny to know that everytime a woman likes Luffy he's just so blind to realize it. A good example is HanNaruto, even if she literally throws herself to Luffy, the latter just ignores it. In the previous episode of One Piece 531, Luffy was searching for food and before he knows it he was already inside the room of Neptune's princess daughter. The princess got scared and ended up crying. These misadventures of Luffy can lead him to a strings of problems, that the Straw Hats are still unaware of. The Straw Hat pirates are being accused of killing mermaids.

The Princess' screaming and crying caught the attention of the guards. But the Princess suddenly had a change of heart when she saw the guards, so she hid Luffy in her hand. She must have wanted to keep him for a while and examine him, or she just wants someone whom she can talk to about her girly problems.

The mermaid Princess started opening up to Luffy. She tells her problems, how she wants to get out of the castle and be free to explore the world. As she was talking, Luffy was busy munching lots of food! But of course, Luffy is also listening to her.

The story is starting to build a few more important elements, especially in this episode in the royal palace. I think that the part where Luffy spent time with the Mermaid Princess is essential in the story, although she's kind of irritating but Luffy balanced everything because of his funny acts. It's going to contribute in other ways for sure, now that the other parts of the story are coming together.

The most awaited battle between Erza and Azuma has now come! The battle was epic, with great action and right length, this is so far the best battle in Fairy Tail! But of course, nothing can beat the battles of Natsu. It is also rare to have an episode like this in Fairy Tail, where the story mainly focuses on the battle. 

Erza did an impressive job in doing everything that she can to defeat Azuma. She maximized the use of every armor and weapon in her possession. Compared to Natsu, I thought Erza is not that strong enough, but this battle proves me wrong. Natsu may have his Dragon Slayer powers but Erza has already mastered her skills in armors and equipments, and also her fighting skills.

Let's not forget that Azuma is a scary opponent. He defeated Mirajane with just 70% of his power, and if the battle continued the damage can be imaginable. But now that he had the power of Tenrouje, Erza is in big trouble. However, this huge disadvantage of Erza turned into a positive one when Tenroujee ended up siding with her!

On a lighter side, you will definitely love this episode if you are an Erza-Jellal loveteam fan. There are scenes where Erza is losing against Azuma, but Jellal calls out and encourages her to fight. It's interesting to know that Jellal and Erza have this telepathic connection between them. And let's be thankful that Jellal is still alive, but he's inside a chamber.

In his defeat, Azuma realized that Fairy Tail is a beautiful guild, composed of good people who helps each other. Meldy also agrees that Fairy Tail is not just a guild, but a family. It's not surprising if these two will join Fairy Tail in the near future.

After last week's episode about Cana, I'm sure that the fans are expecting that Fairy Tail is now entering the abyss of filler arc. Surprisingly, this episode continues with the latest battles, but a short one and that would make you beg for more!

In this latest arc of Fairy Tail, just when the good ones are about to triumph, the bad ones are just waiting for a chance to ruin again everything. And that's what happened in this episode, with Gildarts, Bickslow and Freed.

And the highlight of the story is the battle between Gildarts and Bluenote. It was so awesome! They are like two monsters with equal powers and it's hard to predict which side would win. But sad to say, the fight is painfully short, and if it lasted for a bit longer, Gildarts might have won.

There's this interesting part, where Gildarts was very angry and he has all the reasons to act like that. Gildarts has a great contribution in raising up the new generation of Fairy Tail. It is also obvious that Gildarts might have a slight idea on Cana's intentions.

Rustyrose is also attacking the camp when the battle is happening and that's a huge pressure on Gildarts. There are people who protect the camp, they are Lisanna, Lily and Levi, but they too can't defeat Rustyrose. But thanks to Freed and Bickslow for saving the day! To be honest, I thought Gajeel will come, I can't think of anyone who can outmatch Rustyrose. But with the entrance of these two, I exclaimed with lots of excitement - "PERFECT!" Freed uses runes for his power, and these are great weapons in defeating Rusty. And let's not forget Bickslow who also helped.

At this point, a boy was showed, and it seems like he's Makao's son. I got scared that this will initiate the filler arc. Bleach is a good example for this, but almost every series do this, where in a heated action the series starts to pause and have some fillers. Good thing, it went back into the action.

And this is the most annoying part, just when we thought that Fairy Tail is already safe, then came this evil plan of Purehito. Azuma was able to take down the Tenrou Tree, removing the blessing of the island. With this blessing, members of Fairy Tail are immortal, and the Tree boosts up their powers and protects them. Azuma also successfully drained the magic powers of everyone. Erza is now having a huge burden on her shoulders because she must now face Azuma. She must defeat him to save Fairy Tail.

The fight of Nine Tailed Fox and Naruto has begun. Naruto must take control over this Tailed Fox to get its enormous power. Title of this Naruto Episode of Naruto Shippuden 246 is "The Orange Spark". With a Wind Style Rasengan Naruto and his clones attack. This is the time to take his chakra away from Nine Tails and thus make him controllable. All seems to go well, Tailed Fox is succumbing to Naruto's will and Nine Tails' chakra start flowing into Naruto.

It hits him hard. Naruto realizes all the pure hatred poring from Nine Tails into him, wanting to kill, wanting to have revenge. Naruto is weakened. Octopops Killer Bee attempts to talk to him, asking him not to give up. Tailed Fox resents Naruto's attempt to control its chakra. Naruto is after all just a small portion of its hatred. Naruto recalls all the hatred and resentment of the Hidden Leaf villagers.

Killer Bee realizes the intensity of this, Yamato wants to step in as well, but Naruto tells them to go away. It was then, that a kind looking girl appeared. She asked that Naruto guess who she is. Naruto naturally suspected her to be Nine Tails' real form. Here women chuckled and laughed nervously and admitted that she was Naruto's mom. He recognized her of course and hugged her tight.

Killer Bee and Yamato reckoned Nine Tails transformation must have stopped. Naruto pulls away from his mom and said he wanted to ask her many questions. Mom agreed, but let's first tame Nine Tails, shall we?

Chains came out of Naruto's chest, wound themselves around Nine Tails and pinned it down. Nine Tails recognized Kushina, Naruto's mother. Minato embedded Kushina's chakra into the seal formula so that she could help Naruto in this transformation.

Naruto couldn't help grinning and firing questions like how they fell in love. Bit embarrassed Kushina remembered the first day she came to Hidden Leaf Village. She met Naruto's father Minato is school. Well, not before she got herself laughed at by pronouncing that she was going to become first Lady Hokage ... (her hair being so red didn't help much either). Everybody laughed, but one boy. Yellow head Minato stood up and said he was going to be a great Hokage too.

Kushina was called Tomato. She grabbed one guy and told him she hated tomatoes and starting pounding the guy turning him into a smashed tomato. From then on she beat up every guy who made fun of her, earning her a new nickname: Red-Hot Habanero! One day one of her bully's older brother showed up to even the score. She fought bravely, kicking this older guy's butt. She was however called and outsider and that hurt her.

Kushina described and incident which changed the way she thought of her hair. Hidden Cloud kidnapped her for her special chakra. As she was being taken away she thought of dropping few strands of hair on the ground. This helped Minato track her down and save her. Minato told her that her hair was beautiful and that she wasn't an outsider and ... well love was born.

Kushina poked Naruto and asked: "When you put the Yellow Flash of the Leaf and Red-Hot Habanero together..." and Naruto finished "You get the Leaf's Orange Hokage!"

Naruto may be out of time to absorb Nine Tails' chakra. Kushina must tell Naruto why Nine Tails needed to be sealed inside Naruto the day he was born. It has to do with an incident that happened 16 years ago on October 10th. Watch next episode of Naruto Shippuden 247 right here at TailedFox next Thursday February 2nd. Killer Bee warmed up to Naruto as he proclaimed to be his personal instructor. Naruto has to be prepared or as Bee puts it "... else you may suffer death or torture." Killer Bee takes Naruto to a secret Jinchuriki place for purification ceremonies. It's time for Naruto to face his Nine Tails. Ya fool! Killer Bee thanks Nine Tails' brat, Naruto for saving Motoi. Then asks Naruto to go to Waterfall of Truth. Once there Naruto encounters his darker side again. Admitting that he cannot win fighting him with force, Naruto decides to concentrate on the truth.

Naruto displays his autograph HOKAGE CANDIDATE #1 NARUTO and explains that now he can give what he never could at Ichiraku, his autograph. Naruto's dark side got angry. Shouted that he doesn't care about the villagers. They have been outcasting them, treating them both badly. Naruto agreed, but in order to trust he needs to trust himself first. This shook up Naruto's dark side to his core. Slowly he got down to his knees and cried. Naruto exlained that it's because Naruto's dark side existed in him, he was able t become strong.

Naruto's dark side asks what he is to Naruto and what he is supposed to do now. Naruto suggested to just become him. Then they hugged and it seemed that they both just became one.

Killer Bee announced that it is time to confront the Nine Tails. Walking through waterfalls Killer Bee explains that statues there were without heads for a reason and here is where selected ones would come to become Jinchuriki, or to undergo purification ceremony.

Naruto is asked to put his head into a statue mouth opening to get admitted into the building. If there is no darkness in Naruto's heart the door will open. If however, just a tiny amount of darkness is found in Naruto's heart, the mouth will close and tear his head off. The headless statues Killer pointed out before were of jinchuriki who did not pass this test and lost their heads.

Yamato thought this test was too risky and suggested a clone, but Killer Bee reminded the two that this was a sacred place (fool, ya fool) and that generations of Hidden Cloud ancestors guard this place.

Naruto gathered his courage and stuck his head in the opening. Second or two later Naruto screamed and out came his corpus void of his head. Yamato turned yellow and blue when Naruto stuck his head out of his jacket grinning like a fool, ya fool. Turning on a switch the gate opened.

Killer Bee asked Naruto about the seal used on Nine Tails. Yamato explained the nature of Tetragram Seal and Naruto had to recall the key left behind by Fourth Hokage. Yamato asked what they'll do if Naruto couldn't control his Nine Tails. Killer Bee stated that they'll have to seal it right there in this sacred place.

Both Killer Bee and Naruto closed their eyes and focused on the job. Bee orders Naruto to meet Nine Tails in his subconscious mind and to undo the seal. Killer Bee warned Naruto not to relax as Nine Tails is a mass of pure hatred. Nine Tails was impressed by Naruto conquering hatred.

Naruto undid the seal. Nine Tails bursted out of his cage. Naruto focused hard on grabbing Nine Tails' chakra with his own, merge them so his chakra can pull Nine Tails' one. If it doesn't work Nine Tails will tame Naruto's chakra and all hell will break loose. Naruto's biggest chance is to use his strong will.

Eight Tails took care of an explosion. This bought Naruto enough time to sign a Super Giant Rasengan. The fight of Nine Tailed Fox and Naruto has begun. A flashback shows Ishilly and her friends being captured by Caribou. And then it ended with Caribou being thankful to the Straw Hats for bringing him to the Treasure Island. In the present time, Madam Shyarly is talking to akatsukiaboshi and his brothers about her prediction. akatsukiaboshi is now convinced that they must capture the Straw Hats and ordered the Fishman islanders to look for them. Meanwhile, the Straw Hat pirates are on their way to the banquet, together with King Neptune.

King Neptune informs the Straw Hats that Zoro has already arrived at the Ryugu Palace and has rudely asked for sake so he can relax while waiting for the crew. Luffy looks for Franky and Robin, but Nami tells him that Franky is on the search of the relatives of Tom, his old shipwright master. Robin is going to look for any information about the Fishman Island's history, specifically the Poneglyphs. They have finally arrived at the palace, and everyone was amazed by its beauty. As they enter, the guards gave them a warm welcome. However, one of the ministers scolded the King for not taking an escort with him. The Straw Hats are surprised to see the King in that kind of situation.

Neptune asks if Princess Shirahoshi is okay, but the two ministers tell him that something happened again. It made the King furious and tells them that they must always keep the Princess secured. The Minister of the Left advises the King that his son has something to tell him, then akatsukiaboshi enters the room. Luffy is distracted by the good smell of food and followed it. He find himself standing in front of a large door but a huge guard is watching it. But Luffy successfully avoided the guard and entered the dark room. Inside the dark room, he uses his nose to sense the location of the food. He bumps into something, and looks like it's just a coral. He just ignored it and thinks that corals are everywhere on Fishman Island. He started to jump at the coral and enjoyed bouncing.

Suddenly, the light is turned on and someone talks. Luffy was very surprised and fall off from the "coral" which turns out to be the Mermaid Princess. The princess is really huge and she starts to ask Luffy what he's doing on her body. Shirahoshi thought that he came to kill her, so she attempted to threaten Luffy. However the Princess cries because she's really scared and Luffy avoided the large drops of tears.

Motoi cannot ask Killer Bee to train Naruto to control his Tailed Beast. He explains that Bee and him used to be friends, but he cannot ask Killer Bee for such an errand. He had tried once and ... well, watch what happened between these two in this Naruto episode of Naruto Shippuden 244 right here at Tailedfox. Naruto is desperately seeking the know how on how to control his Nine Tails. Yamato and Naruto contemplate this with Motoi at the waterfalls of truths. Motoi started explaining that Killer Bee's story is a story of a Jinchuriki. Much like Naruto, jinchuriki of Nine Tails, Killer Bee was a thread to everyone when growing up. Shunned and ridiculed he didn't get depressed. He was in fact proud of himself. Mostly because of his older brother Raikage.

Jinchuriki is a sign of power of a Kage. It has been Kage's decision to seal Eight Tails inside Bee's body. Motoi respects Bee and considers Killer Bee to be one of the heros of Hidden Cloud. He cannot however ask him for help. He had tried to kill him long ago.

Motoi explains the incident in a heart felt confession. 30 years ago Killer Bee couldn't control his Tailed Beast and Eight Tails went often rampant. Raikage with help of countless ninjas brought him down and chained him inside a sealing urn. Keeping the Eight Tails was of course important for Hidden Cloud to preserve the power balance between nations.

Among many dead was Motoi's father. Motoi explains that he and Bee were friends. Jinchuriki of the Eight tails died when Eight Tails was last sealed. That is when Bee was chosen to be Eight Tails' Jinchuriki. Motoi lost his father and now that Bee was to host the killer monster Eight Tails, Motoi started hating Bee as well. Bee just kept on laughing and rapping. He didn't seem to care. One day Motoi had enough, took kunai and charged at Bee. Kunai was averted and no one was hurt, but Motoi's hatred remained.

Bee was despised by villagers, hated and ostracized. Motoi realized that Bee's suffering was greater than his.

Naruto has excused himself as he suddenly neede to be alone. he realized how similar Bee's suffering was to his. He also remembered suffering of Gaara in the Hidden Sand village and how he then became Kage. He remembered the real Naruto inside him. The one representing Nine Tails. Now, Naruto is not so confident that he has the support and trust of everyone in Hidden Leaf.

Yamato and Motoi start looking for Naruto. A huge squid reached out on arm and snatched Motoi away. Naruto first mistook squid for octopus but soon enough signed a clone and ripped up a rasengan while Yamato called for wooden justu strangulation technique to get control over this squid. Octopops Bee popped out of the water and rapping he smacked the silly squid down.

Motoi asked Bee why he saved him. He wanted to kill him after all. Bee just told him while rapping, that he only remembers them laughing and training and having fun.

After a one week break, Fairy Tail is finally back, with new opening and ending song! In this episode, the story of Cana is in the limelight, with an inevitable event coming. In Fairy Tail, some of the villains can turn into good characters once they lose. This pattern looks good with Gajeel and Laxus. There's nothing more cooler than a villain that wants to become good and be a hero.

However, the redemption pattern didn't work with Cana. Despite the sincere attempt, it's hard to be convinced because Cana's reputation is awful. She's been acting like a selfish brat for far too long and there's nothing she can do to make the fans like her. It's too late for sympathy. Since the Fairy Tail was attacked, all Cana did was to betray her friends. And now, after she regrets everything, she was given the most powerful magic! Fairy Tail people really have marshmallow hearts.

Let's take a deeper look at Cana's backstory. Gildarts happens to be the father of Cana, but he doesn't know it. It's just absurd that Gildarts didn't age since he met his little girl. Cana is at least 18 now. It's also funny that Cana had every chance to approach his father but still it was no success. Based on her story, you can understand why she wants to become an S-Class Mage so badly. The pressure as the daughter of the number one Mage in Fairy Tail is too much for Cana. She had to fight the best mages like Erza, Laxus and Mirajane. Even Gray and Natsu will also be defeated by these three. However, it doesn't justify her selfish attitude. The important thing is she realized and admitted her faults.

When Cana regrets her wrongdoing, she was given a powerful magic, the Fairy Glitter. Mavis gave it, for her to save her friends. However, she wasn't able to use the power effectively. Then Gildarts rushes in to help. His battle with Bluenote is something to look forward to. In general, this episode may have a few good twists but it has a weak impact. Some of you might be happy that Cana's role is over. But let's just be excited to the upcoming battles and wish that the guild can protect Fairy Tail.
